He blasted: “That's not a band. That's a showbiz construct. A mockery. That's very much like that awful band Green Day or Avril Lavigne”.

John Lydon being a dick is no news, even Billie knows it, he said, he never has anything good to say about people. the funny part is how much of a hypocrite he is, since he's done commercials and shit, and the Pistols were a constructed band by Malcolm McClaren to sell outfits in her Vivianne Westwood's Sex shop.

Ive seen pictures of him Wearing I hate Pink floyd shirts and then i read a story of him saying oh i love Pink Floyd i would love to do music with them. They toured England before the holidays and I know a couple of English GD fans who went to them. They have a short tour here... and when I was in England for the O2 shows, there were a bunch of billboards around London of Iggy Pop selling insurance... so... go figure.
