Trotsky Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Welcome to the first vote of the GDC song tournament. There are 16 songs listed the most by everyone who participated in that process. Most lists lost during the hacked were redone or the counts kept, so please do not be concerned, not to mention there were quite definitive standings anyway. Ideally, if this forum doesn't come down, there will constantly be a vote for the next two weeks on. The later rounds might be extended to 48 hours, maybe even 72 for the final. And if there is a tiebreaker, there will be a time extension. For now, this is the first round, it's an elimination round and you have seven more of these first sets after this. The next songs up for vote will be announced mid way through in each thread but a list will not be published, as to keep a good element of surprise and suspense. So, Jesus of Suburbia vs. Jason Andrew Relva. You have 24 hours.
LetItBeHappy Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 John, I hate you for putting these two songs together D: go, J.A.R., go!
Dylan. Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Jesus of Suburbia won't get the Angus votes.
AleKerplunk Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Dammit! was a difficult choice i really hope that JOS wins
amy_runs Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Gah, I love 'em both. But I have to go with JOS
Lyz Z Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Ahhhh love them both. I'd almost be willing to bet my guitar that JOS wins though. I vote J.A.R.
Joy of suburbia. Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 both songs are awesome but I have to go with... Jesus of Suburbia.
Trotsky Posted February 26, 2010 Author Posted February 26, 2010 John, I hate you for putting these two songs together D: go, J.A.R., go! Hahahaha it's going to get so much worse.
Dylan. Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Hahahaha it's going to get so much worse. Be honest John, you live to mentally torture inferior beings don't you?
Mari91 Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 i love both so much, but i'd have to say Jesus
LetItBeHappy Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Hahahaha it's going to get so much worse. oh, I'm sure it will... As long as you don't put BTL against 80, I won't kill you (I bet you're writting that one down, even if the songs didn't clasified)
Trotsky Posted February 26, 2010 Author Posted February 26, 2010 Be honest John, you live to mentally torture inferior beings don't you? Nah. I totally stole this tournament from something on an Anti-Flag tournament four years ago though. But it's such a good idea.
LetItBeHappy Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Be honest John, you live to mentally torture inferior beings don't you? LMFAO, CONCUR!
Dylan. Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Nah. I totally stole this tournament from something on an Anti-Flag tournament four years ago though. But it's such a good idea. Anti-Flag....Turncoat would have been may win. Am I wrong?
Trotsky Posted February 26, 2010 Author Posted February 26, 2010 oh, I'm sure it will... As long as you don't put BTL against 80, I won't kill you (I bet you're writting that one down, even if the songs didn't clasified) 80 didn't make it. Anti-Flag....Turncoat would have been may win. Am I wrong? It came down to 911 for Peace vs. Die For The Government, and 911 for Peace won.
heartscollide Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I voted JAR. It means more to me for some reason...
LetItBeHappy Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 80 didn't make it. damn :/ well, easier to vote and now I can cross one out of the list
Dylan. Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 80 didn't make it. It came down to 911 for Peace vs. Die For The Government, and 911 for Peace won. Both are good. Btw, why would 80 have gotten nominated? I forget that's even a song half the time.
heartscollide Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 80 didn't make it. :woot: Does that mean BTL got in!?
Trotsky Posted February 26, 2010 Author Posted February 26, 2010 :woot: Does that mean BTL got in!? I'm not revealing too much right now. Three 21st Century Breakdown songs got through.
Dylan. Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I'm not revealing too much right now. Three 21st Century Breakdown songs got through. Only 3?? Man, based on 1 page of reading the nominee page, I thought it was a "Favorite Song off 21st Century Breakdown" contest.
