GDM Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Hey!Adeline Records noted on their Facebook page today an auction that they are having to benefit Haiti. Money goes to the American Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders. It's mostly vinyl, test pressings, some Rock Band 2 stuff, a Rock Band guitar, but some other stuff, too. eBay link: http://shop.ebay.com/adelinerecords/m.html
Isabel Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 I can think of at least 10 reasons why I need the Singles box set. But I'm seriously so fucked for money this month and they cut my hours in work. I'll definitely be making more donations for Haiti, but not this way
Sharmellow Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Niice. There's even items with free shipping. I'm going to bid on something, and it's for a good cause.
alaniluau Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Go Adeline! This is a really great thing for them to do
ANJI Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Wow some really good stuff there! I'll find money from somewhere to bid
Angela. Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Billie Joe Skully Tee? WANT. God, I'm tempted to bid on this. I need to count my money and see if I can spend some to bid on this, because I still need to set aside money for my GD ticket/merch fund...This is really cool, though. I'm glad to see GD getting involved in helping out with Haiti.
JHyena86 Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Frustrators test pressing here I come... I wish I could get the art book, but it's already at $61, bit too much...I gotta save up for London.
Sara. Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 I really want the adeline t-shirt signed by billie! but I need more money :/ it's very nice that they are helping Haiti!

This morning when I looked at that link, there was no Frustrators, Living End, that backpack, or the shirt there. They announced later on in the day that they had added items.
NaturalxDisaster Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 That's great! I knew that they had to do something for help I'd like them to do a concert, it would be great too (:
GDM Posted January 23, 2010 Author Posted January 23, 2010 Greenday.com posted that the band gave $100,000 for Haiti relief.

hey loria Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 I wondered this morning just in passing if they had thought of doing something, but this is WAY more than I was expecting. $100,000 really is an impressive figure! And then on top of that, everything raised by Adeline. If I had any money, I'd be on there bidding like a mad thing! Those boys are AMAZING.
newsflash777 Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Okay, this is why I fucking adore them.Seriously.
hey loria Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Okay, this is why I fucking adore them.Seriously.Ohhhhh, dude. I agree so much that I have to just say. Testify! They're such good people.
RebelAmongSaints Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 I just donated the last money on my account to red cross so I won't be bidding on anything, but this it absolutely heartwarming to see how much effort is being put into helping these poor people. I will also be extremely jealous of whatever lucky sod who gets the Frustrators Test pressing, but that's unrelated.
Sarahnade. Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Aw, this is amazing. Really awesome to see this.I love and want everything, ahah. I'd love to place a bid, but I don't know how I am with money. I'll have to see.
parinaz Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 good news.green day also will be donating $100,000 to the American Red Cross.
Soroush Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 It's great.I really didn't expect green day to donate $100,000
hey loria Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 It must be such a good feeling to help out to that extent.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 That's pretty awesome. And I really want some of those things. Thinking of bidding on something. I really hope my dad will let me, this is an excellent chance to buy stuff like this without my dad going all "noo it's a waste of money you will regret this later!!1!"
