Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Today Kerplunk turns 18, use this thread to congratulate an inanimate object/thing and share your thoughts on it, or whatever you want to share or write.I think it's an awesome album, it's got a couple of my (big list of) favourite Green Day songs on it, and I'll leave it to the rest of GDC to say more thoughtful things.
Angela. Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Awesome, Happy Birthday Kerplunk! Such a great album. I love One For The Razorbacks, Who Wrote Holden Caulfield?, and Christie Road. Oh, and Dominated Love Slave.

alaniluau Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Awwww happy birthday, Kerplunk! When I was just getting into Green Day (I had been given AI and Dookie as gifts) Kerplunk was the first album I bought. It holds a special place in my heart. One day my CD started skipping during No One Knows and I started crying. Luckily, I cleaned it off with my shirt and it's worked great since.
Chelsea Hotel Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Another GD release that came out before I was born. Oh, wow.

Heather! Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Happy birthday, Kerplunk!I bought this one summer and hardly gave it a good listen until about a year later, and fell absolutely in LOVE with it. I remember being on a road trip with my family and listening to One of my Lies over and over again. It's definitely in my top 3 favorite albums.
Astrid. Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 I remember my uncle having this album when I was little. I always mentioned this album as the 'flower' cd I was only 5 or 6 at that time and didn't know a thing about music and forgot about itHappy birthday!!
