I just love all of the 1991 interview, where Mike's wearing that ridiculous/funny hat and that yellow outfit

^OMFG. "Garth Brooks is gay. NO NO JESUS NO! GET HIM BOYS, GET HIM! And they threw apples and oranges!" hahahaha funniest thing ever.

In Perth, during Last Night on Earth Billie sang "everything that I am worth here on ea-here in Perth, I'm sending all my love to you...I just made that up"

It was so adorable, you could tell it wasn't a planned lyric change and he had the proudest smile on his face hehe. definitely one of my favourite moments.

Or in Melbourne on the 16th when he was talking about his being sick. :D

and Mike's response to the koala that Alex threw on stage. he laughed so hard and then pretended to bite its head off.

Omggg   That's so adorable, I can totally imagine him saying that and being so proud of himself haha, awww.

And what did he say about being sick?

OMG That is one of my most favorite Green Day interviews ever. Mike is so hilarious in the video.

One of my favorite parts is when Mike's talking in a southern voice and he's like, "OH, I KNOW you ain't from here!" And I seriously laughed for like...10 minutes straight when he looked down at his pants and says, "These are liberty bells!! DING. DONG!" LMFAO.

LMFAO I've set that as the alarm on my phone!!!!!!!

Nothing better than waking up to that in the morning, I can tell you!

I can't remember exactly but it was something about spending the night on the toilet or something haha, that nights kind of a blur because it was so incredible. you could tell how much they wanted to put on a good show because it was postponed.

he also mimed vomiting to our friend Elle cause she had a sign that said "true aussies chuck sickies"

:D it was great.

Seeing them live twice this year were my best moments! I also love Mike's laugh and Green Day's performance with Will Ferrell...always cracks me up

I agree with both of these.

And seeing them live, and hearing my favorite, Macy's Day Parade, easily a highlight!

There are so many, but probably Mike and Billie making eye contact with me like 10 times at the Brisbane 09 show. We were sitting in the very front row, right next to Mike's side of the stage. Every time they came over to our side, me and my friends screamed so loud and leant so far forward that we almost fell over the railing. Ha!

Also seeing Homecoming at the SCG in 2005. OMG.

From a live preformance....it has to be on the 30th Oct when i saw them live, and billie did the splits on st jimmy and split his trousers, he ran of stage and we were like wheres he gone, then he came back after the band had played some of BOBD and told the crowd what had happened and then said "Did anyone see my balls?" then he let the crowd sing BOBD whilst he tied his shoelaces on the stage, then he took over and sang BOBD.

or...i guess 31st Oct could compete with Tre doing the monster mash, then billie turning round and saying "Tre is Dirty"

There are so many...

I was there. That was hilarious. I said to my friend "Where the hell has Billie gone? He didn't disappear like this in Birmingham!" haha. Although the highlight of that day was when the girl picked Billie up and he wrapped his legs around her waist haha.

My favourite must have been at Birmingham cos I was at the very front of the catwalk and when Billie came down I went to take a picture and he smiled and waved directly into my camera :) My hand was shaking so much though so it didn't come out :( but I've got another photo where he's looking straight at me.

There was a video I saw from this tour that I have to say was one of the sweetest things I've ever seen. IDK if it's my FAVORITE moment (too many to choose just one), but it's a great one:

During "storytime", Billie was talking about how he was walking around outside the arena, and he ran into a fan. She took his picture with him, and he was saying how she was just a really nice, cool girl. He scanned the pit for a minute and pointed her out, saying "There she is right there!" And then he went "You know, today when you went to take the picture you said you didn't look good... you look beautiful."

He said it in the sweetest, most genuine way. Whether he realized it or not, he probably made that girl's year by saying that.

That to me is the perfect example of why I love them so much.

I remember watching that video on youtube  I have never aww-d so much in my fucking life.

God, I love this thread. The little things they do, like waving or smiling or knicking hats or playing songs people have requested, they probably don't realise just how much it means to a fan, just the hearing about the things they do makes me love them more and more every day and that in its self is just incredible.

August 1st, 2009

I looked up from the front row and noticed Tre was staring at me with a weird look on his face. It made me feel self-conscious, so I waved at him to make sure I was the one he was looking at. He responded with a cocky grin and a nod of his head. Being the smooth young woman that I am I threw up the "I love you," hand signal. He grinned a bit wider and wiggled his eye brows up and down suggestively.

Every now and then after that we'd exchange grins. I even pleaded with him to get this kid I had kind of adopted as my little brother for the show up on stage. He look really sorry when it didn't happen.

I know it isn't a big deal at all to have Tre Cool flirt with you, but that didn't stop me at all exiting that venue with a bounce in my step and my head held high.

firstly for those of whom have never seen me, I should note that although I'm little in almost every way. I have an incredibly loud voice and hair that could take out the sun,

I pretty much spiked the absolute shit out of my hair on the 14th (more so than usual) so much so that for the next week and still, I get people coming up to me asking if I was "spike" at Green Day.

During the show whenever Billie looked in the lower. I'm 65 % sure he was looking at me. ( I am stupid. stupid stupid) Everytime he looked over, he'd scan our area, then his eyes would just land on me.

 fuck it, even if he wasn't looking at me, it damn well felt like I was being stared at. (you know, that feeling you get?)

Gah, so hard to decide.

My favorite Billie moment is from the Houston soundcheck. I had made a sign and snuck it in with a picture of the guys on it and my song request (Who Wrote Holden Caufield). Billie saw me waving it during the warm up and was all "Hey put a light on that girl with the sign" and next thing I knew someone had this spotlight in my face and Billie was on the edge of the catwalk to see it better. It was surreal almost. Then he started playing my request, till Tre got up saying he was done

And as far as Mike moments...there are way too many, but I'll go with him giving me a pick after the show. During soundcheck I think he saw my Frustrators shirt and then quickly found me in the pit (front and center of his mic and amps). He'd tossed a few picks in my direction throughout the show and talked to me between songs and stuff (talking meaning we shout and can't hear but luckily can read lips) and he had somehow noticed that I had never caught one of the picks cause the guard in front of me was an asshole and kept taking them. So Mike went off stage and caught my attention just to give me a pick (he handed it to a guard or stage manager or something and got me to wave and stuff). Then he gave me his water bottle, which further pissed off the security guy. Go Mike :D

Also gotta love when I saw them as the Tubbies and Mike was making suggestive gestures to me during Blood Sex and Booze. Ah, good times.

And I don't know where to begin with Tre, lol. He always makes me crack up.

Edit: I'ma Pedestrian now :D

Definitely my favorite Green Day moment was being eight people away from the end of the catwalk at the Phila show and Billie Joe, my absolute idol, coming up to the end of the catwalk during "21st Century Breakdown" and it felt like I was looking up at God himself!!!!

This might sound weird, but another favourite moment of mine was from the Halloween show in Manchester. During Minority when the two people brought out the confetti machines, Billie Joe looked down at them and because they were dressed up as fairies, he kind of smirked and raised his eyebrows as bit, as if to say "Wtf, who are these strange people??"

For some reason it stuck in my mind, because it really made him seem so normal. Like, he had what would be a quintessential expression when seeing two people dressed as fairies wheeling out confetti machines. It took him off the rock star pedestal and turned him into Billie Joe, the human; for those few seconds anyway. Gah, it was just delightful.....or delusional

I have so many favourite moments but I'll use one from my show. The first guy he pulled up was a guy I'd known for 6 hours while we were waiting outside. Billie then pulled up another guy and got them to double stage dive. Another good moment during that show was when Billie noticed the guy next to me wearing a handbag type of thing, and started laughing and said "Nice purse, man!"

Reading this thread has actually made me really really happy.

I don't have a specific moment that is the best, just the nights of the 18th and 19th of December, 2009.

The last show of the decade...

Finger fucker, and anything with Mike's laugh.

Ok I have decided! It has to be at the MTV emas last year when they had an short red-carpet interview with the BBC. With it being a British broadcaster that made it a little more special for me :D But while Billie was being serious and answering the questions, the sound guy placed the boom closer to Billie because it was quite hard to hear him. It was just in camera sight at the bottom of the screen, Tre saw tipped his head to one side and did that confused look. He then reached in front of Billie and stroked the boom, the sound guy pulled it away so quick. It was so hilarious because Billie and Mike didn't even see it happen! Tre's face cracked me up so much

I LOVE that little interview! I watched it today, in fact

I love every single Green Day moment I've had. But if I have to pick one it'll have to be when I saw them live, during Boulevard of Broken Dreams. It's hard to explain why, but it being the song that got me into them, and Billie just sat down on the floor and then bowed to us for singing it. Which he's probably done on every show, but some reason that moment was special to me.

Sounds a bit lame when telling about it, but still :P

I have a lot of favorite moments but I love it when Billie messes up his songs.... in this concert he sang Longview and missed up the words. I can't go on YouTube right now but if you look up: Billie screws up Longview or just simply Longview live 2009 you'll see it.

When Billie mooned us @ Pittsburgh :eyebrows:

L.O.L. that had to be the funniest ever... it wasn't sexy it was just funny like seriously
