I think they are fucking perfect in anyway. I fucking admire and love them so much.

Sometimes I wonder why I'm so obbsessed with green day, what is it about them that just stands out from every other band to us fans? What I think is cool is that I became a fan through the music but when you get to know more about the guys I find myself completely agreeing with alot of their opinions and stuff. It's almost like you're drawn to like minded people or something but you don't even realise that at the beginning. Does that make any sense at all?

He has a way of conveying feelings through his voice that is so mesmerizing.I love their sound, both new and old. There's not one band that I think really, really sounds like them, and I like that. I love how unique their music is.Billie's writing. I could go on forever about this, but I am SUCH a fan of his songwriting. He knows how to put into words feelings that most people have trouble articulating, and does it in such a raw, honest way. His lyrics are never difficult to understand - he doesn't flood his songs with big words and ideas that most people wouldn't understand. It's very listener-friendly writing, yet quite profound sometimes.Most importantly, the guys. Just - it's hard to say everything I love about them. I love how much they LOVE what they do. They don't make music for the money, they make music because it's their passion. I love how much they clearly love each other - there are few bands that after so many years are still that tight. I love their sense of humor - they never take themselves too seriously, and there hasn't been one interview were they failed to make me laugh. I love how they say what they're thinking and aren't afraid to rock the boat. I love how great they are to their fans. I love how they are these Gods onstage, but are also the least "rockstar-ish" people you could find. They are just so normal. Or as normal as they can get, lol, but you know what I mean. They are family men who have their priorities straight, which is DEFINITELY not a "typical rockstar" thing to do. I don't look at them as being "famous" or "celebrities" - they're just "the guys". They're genuine, down-to-earth, nice people.I love them because I think they are the best people I could've ever asked for to have in my life. They are so much apart of my everyday, that I don't know what I'd do without them. I wouldn't be me if it weren't for them, and I thank them so much for that. It's because of them that I'm proud of who I've become.
