How many times have you seen Green Day live

I saw them for the first time 9-05-05 in Hartford. I was 13, it was also my first concert ever. I got the tickets from my aunt for my birthday and literally cried when I opened the card they were in. I seriously had tears streaming down my face and I remembered saying "am I really going?!" to my mom like I didn't think it was real...haha. She actually got a pic of my face when I opened the card and it was just =O! The whole time I was there, I was kind of in shock. Haha. I thought I was dreaming. I remembered my mom like holding my arm as they walked out on stage, because I was shaking and she probably thought I would pass out. Lol. It was the single best night of my life.

The second time was this summer, 7-25 in Albany. Me and my best friend bought tickets and went together. We had an awesome time, but nothing beats the first time.

Twice. October 16th this year in Rotterdam and October 17th in Antwerp. Rotterdam was my first concert ever (and obviously first Green Day concert too), and completely awesome in pretty much every way. And I still can't stop talking about it. And awesome things happened. 2 hours and 20 minutes full of awesome.

Antwerp was great too, but it doesn't beat Rotterdam.

Saw them twice, once in Hamburg and once in Dortmund.

Hamburg was my first real concert and the thought seing my idols was actually quite weird and scary at the same time. Sadly, I arrived late at the concert and "just" made it into second row, but after one hour or so I made it into the first and the feeling was just soooo awesome, you can't actually describe it. I never screamed so much in one night, I freaked out and danced and it was just great. A little note, the screaming was not teenieomgiloveyoubillie-screaming, I just had to scream instead of singing. :wink:

Dortmund was amazing too, I met so many great people there it's unbelievable. I was in the first row for the whole time and again, the emotions, the whole feeling seing them again, I actually can't believe I've seen them. I nearly got on stage, Billie noticed my sign for JOS but he continued with the show. (But hey, he noticed me. ) It's not all about getting on stage, so yeah, it were the best two days of my whole life. <3

I've seen them only once, sadly.. But this was definately the best day I've ever had! I even got in the first row at the soundcheck, like 2 meters away from Billie and he looked me in the eyes briefly! And Tre said "Tschüß", what means Bye in German.

8 times. Best is a tie between the Seattle show and the Forum show in LA from this year.

I was 14 when I first saw them and the pit was filled with middle aged men.. It was a good show but I almost died in there.

ive only seen them once which was in Chicago July 13,2009. my first ever concert and i didnt want to see any other band until i saw Green Day first.

i was wanting to go to more in the oast but my father never liked concerts and didnt want me and my sister to go to any. :/

but im so going to more next time they come around the chicago land area. i want to to go 4 or more of their concerts next time.

That was actually the 3rd concert I had gone to, but it was my first Green Day and my first time being in the pit. Such an amazing show. Definitley the best day ever. Were you in the pit? I was 3 rows in front of the catwalk.

I wish I could've seen them more, I easily could've went and saw them in Pittsburgh or something. Next time the come around, I hope to see them more than once.

Yeah i'm pretty sure I've seen a similar thread. But since none of us can find it, i'll let this one continue, and we'll close the old one when it's found.

I've seen them 5 times, twice for the AI tour (Giants Stadium & Pittsburgh) and twice this year (Fox Theater & Philadelphia). I also saw the Foxboro Hot Tubs in Phoenix in May of last year.

Three times. First time in Hartford in 05', was my first concert also, amazing. Second time in NYC for the GMA morning performance, also totally amazing. My favorite though, was Hartford this year. Such an amazing setlist and an amazing time. I'm sure I'll see em' alot more though, haha.
