Sanity Loan Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore...69&s=143441I was browsing Green Day's albums on iTunes and I came across this. It seems to be all of Green Day's songs (plus b-sides and live songs) put into one big album. The 21 Guns ft. AI Cast is included. The only song on there that isn't on any album or isn't a b-side is the song "I Don't Wanna Know If You Are Lonely". Does anyone know about this song?It comes out December 22nd... you can pre-order now for $99.99
farley drexel hatcher Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 That is random.I can't find it on the UK iTunes though and I hope the AI cast version of 21 Guns becomes available seperately
Sanity Loan Posted December 17, 2009 Author Posted December 17, 2009 That is random.I can't find it on the UK iTunes though and I hope the AI cast version of 21 Guns becomes available seperatelyIt fucking better.... thats all I have to say
MassHysteria Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Awesome. Sad to see they don't include Favorite Son.It fucking better.... thats all I have to sayDon't worry, of course they'll release the new 21 Guns by itself.
Kryssi. Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 That seems a bit of a rip off if you've already got all their albums, which I'm hoping all of you have by now...
Sanity Loan Posted December 17, 2009 Author Posted December 17, 2009 That seems a bit of a rip off if you've already got all their albums, which I'm hoping all of you have by now...Yes ma'am
The Disappearing Boy Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 wow, thats a waste of money, isn't it?
HoneyDo666 Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 What kind of fans would we be if we didn't have all their albums?
MassHysteria Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 What kind of fans would we be if we didn't have all their albums?Just because we HAVE them doesn't mean we PAID for them
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 But still Only fans would want all the songs, and they probably already have or all the albums, paid for or not, and if they don't they'd probably download it for free if they wanted to. I would for sure not buy this, if I didn't have all the albums yet. Okay, this package thing is cheaper than the physical CD's (about 25% cheaper, if I remembered what I paid for every album right), but still... I don't think anybody would pay 100 bucks for something you can download for free as well, with little to no difference.
fashionvictim86 Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 The only song on there that isn't on any album or isn't a b-side is the song "I Don't Wanna Know If You Are Lonely". Does anyone know about this song? It's a cover of a Husker Du (I believe?) song. It was a b-side to Warning and is on one of the Warning (the song) singles. First single listed under Warning. Looking at the song list on GDA, I'm surprised I missed that. :/EDIT: Oh no, it is on there...just as I Don't Wanna Know If You Are Lonely
fatherotti Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 I mean yea...if you already have all of them..there's no point unless your into collecting...and lord knows I have all of those plus all the ones that arent included...even that 21 Guns AI! lol
Li Sa Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 i have all except of a feww B- sides but this will change soon
Jesus*Of*Suburbia Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 That's cool but I already have all the songs. I'd be dumb to buy it just cause though. I do know that the new 21 guns version is available for download by itself on Dec 22nd.
dolce Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 I have everything except "I Don't Want to Know if You Are Lonely". And the new 21 Guns, obviously. I'd never illegally download Green Day - I respect them too much to do that. So, I'll just live without that one song. It's alright.
fashionvictim86 Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 For those of you who haven't heard of I Don't Wanna Know If You Are Lonely, don't worry. It wasn't like it was hugely popular in the Warning era. And I don't even think it's that great of a song. I don't know why they ever covered it. But you can listen to it on GDA Extra Media.
dolce Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 ^ Thanks. Upon hearing it, I realized I have heard it before. Maybe on Youtube or something, IDK. I agree though, it's not super or anything. I like it, but it won't kill me not to get it.

Guest Shangri-La Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 gross. i hope no one wastes their money on this.
dolce Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 But its a Green Day song so you pretty much HAVE to listen to/have it just because it is Green Day.... you know?LOL, I absolutely know what you mean and feel the same way. Maybe I'll download it off here.
fashionvictim86 Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 But its a Green Day song so you pretty much HAVE to listen to/have it just because it is Green Day.... you know?Yeah, agreed. But I have the Warning single with the song on it, so I don't care about downloading it.

I mean, if anything were to happen to your computer, your screwed over, aren't you? (assuming you don't download the songs onto blank discs)Anyway, the actual cds are lifetime while as iTunes is probably not likely.
Starbug Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 What kind of fans would we be if we didn't have all their albums?A new one?I'm sure there are fans that just recently jumped on the Green Day bandwagon who probably don't have all this, or know it exists. But 99.99? Yowch :/
Sharmellow Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 But 99.99? Yowch :/I just released I have spent too much money on Green Day with that statement.
