Iminyourcoffeemaker Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/inde...-of-the-decade/Rolling Stone released the list of the top 20 most underrated albums of the decade and Green Day's Warning is #17.
xLilyx Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 ooo I love Sam's Town. Warning should have been much higher imo but that's awesome il that album
Ally Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Hasn't there been a list done like this before but in a different magazine/website or something...i can't remember, i think warning was on that too, they are right though, warning is so underrated, i love the warning album, it is so not the weakest of all the albums they have made in my opinion
Brandon R. Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 I love Warning. You can definitely tell it's a bridge between the "old" GD and the "new" GD.So many great songs on that album.Blood, Sex, and Booze goes down as one of my all time favorite GD songs.
Vespertine Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 I LOVE Warning. It's an intelligent album.I love Misery
Renjini Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 that list seems pretty accurate to me, maybe a couple of more albums should have been added, but they were right for the most part.
Vespertine Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Just realized that there are no songs on this album I dislike
novacaine_kid Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Its definitely an underrated album. Its some of their best work, and still can't understand why people slag it off. They took a very brave step by making an album with such a varied sound and sure it didn't sell very well, but its an amazing piece of work.
Brandon R. Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Just realized that there are no songs on this album I dislike Exactly. That's how I feel about it.
LetItBeHappy Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 why the fuck did anyone loved Warning in its time? SUCH A GREAT ALBUM!
heartscollide Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Yay!! Some reconition that Warning is amazing.I really do loooove this album. Like, the lyrics are so awesome.
Hellcat Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Is it just me or do others think anything Green Day does is pure genius? So I can honestly say there is not a song i dislike.Church On Sunday, Misery, Waiting and Macy's Day Parade are really solid tracks.
greendaygal89 Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Warning is such an amazing album i love it
sampy Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Yey it's nice to see Warning there, it's way too underrated album, and I'm glad about that that other people see that also ps. It's my birthday today wohoo ! turnin' to 18 =)
Iminyourcoffeemaker Posted December 15, 2009 Author Posted December 15, 2009 I think its a great album but still nowhere near the best.Dookie, American Idiot, Nimrod, 21st Century Breakdown, and (maybe) 1039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours, were all better but that just shows how talented they are. One of their worst albums still is great and totally underrated.
Nikki_Nimrod Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 I love Warning SO much, it's absolutely brilliant. I'm glad they realized how underrated it is, even though it deserves to be a lot higher!ps. It's my birthday today wohoo ! turnin' to 18 =)Happy Birthday!
1000SlappyHours Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Interesting list, never thought Sam's Town was completely underrated altho i understand why it should be on the list. Blackholes & Revelations isn't underrated at all, it gave Muse international success. Gratz for Warning, one of the best pop albums ever but IMO this list isn't the most underrated albums of the decade but the underrated albums of popular bands.
Mar Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 This is a great list (as a Killers fan, I completely agree with Sam's Town, I love that album so much)!
Greenday_Aussie Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Warning is win. It has some of GD's best songs. Jackass and Castaway being two of them.
Emmalee Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 For some reason it took me a lot longer to get into Warning than just about all the others. There are individual songs I've always loved but only really recently started appreciating the full album properly Definately deserves to be on that list
The Breakdown Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Warning was at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Alan86 Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Warning is a great album. Great listen start to finish. Its a pitty the only song that makes it to the set list is MinoritySometimes Macys Day Parade too, But I'd love waiting, castaway and blood sex and Booze to make the set list more often
Miss Hedgie Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 I love Warning. Its my fave Green Day album besides Insomniac.Should be higher.
emmaILGD! Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Warning was the first Green Day album I owned and therefore is my favourite , it's too underrated for my liking.
