Mar Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 EDIT January 2010: The schedule has been changed. The concert appears to be the World Stage concert from MTV Germany last year. This will be the first time it airs on US television.Well, I don't quite know if this is going to be Bullet in a Bible, or something else. But I still think it's pretty damn cool.NEW YORK, Nov. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Beginning New Year's Day 2010, VH1 births "Friday Night Alright," a music fan's passport to first-class rock and pop music concerts in HD from around the world every Friday night at 11 PM.The schedule, spanning shows from Argentina, Australia, Italy, theU.K., Malta and The Netherlands as well as the U.S., includes:1/1/2010: Pink: Funhouse1/8/2010: Muse: A Seaside Rendezvous1/22/2010: MTV Worldstage: Green Day1/29/2010: Lady Gaga2/5/2010: Madonna Sticky and Sweet2/12/2010: 46664 Mandela Celebration2/19/2010: Creed Live2/26/2010: MTV Live: Black Eyed Peas3/5/2010: Best of Austin City Limits (Pearl Jam; Kings of Leon)3/12/2010: U23/19/2010: MTV Live: John Legend3/26/2010: Best of Vfest 2009 (Taylor Swift; Katy Perry; Lady Gaga)LOOK AT THIS FUCKING LINEUP OF CONCERTS! It's very A+, there's something for everyone on here! I personally am currently flipping my shit over Green Day (even if it is just BIAB, it'll be cool to see it on TV), Godga and Muse! VH1, I am very proud of you. Me, right now, basically:

Velocity Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Awesome! I hope it includes footage from MSG.The lineup of all the other artists is pretty friggin awesome as well.
Kryssi. Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Hopefully we'll have new concert footage for this
Mar Posted November 27, 2009 Author Posted November 27, 2009 it probably is some thing new cause every thing else there is newSee, I'm not really an optimist, but that's my exact line of thinking as well. The Pink footage has to be from this year, same with Gaga and lord knows who else. It would be a little silly to show concerts of all of these artists, most of whom are currently relevant for fairly recent releases, without selections from those recent releases. But on the other hand, I'm a little nervous, because I imagine that the Jason Mraz one will just be a broadcast of his live CD/DVD that was just released, so I worry it'll just be broadcasting already produced stuff like BIAB. I don't know. I hope it's new material!
Liam Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 it could be live at fox theater so that would be pretty cool
Mar Posted November 27, 2009 Author Posted November 27, 2009 it could be live at fox theater so that would be pretty coolThat would be AMAZING now, in my head, I'm trying to think of all of the shows we know for sure were professionally recorded
Allie90 Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 That would be AMAZING now, in my head, I'm trying to think of all of the shows we know for sure were professionally recorded there are some shows recorded by MTV of their performance in Germany this year, for instance. not sure whether the are eligible for being broadcast on VH1. It's soooo interesting what will that be!!! Hope I'll be able to find this broadcast online, don't have VH1 :/
RobyRoom Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Hope it will be brodcasted here as well. I have vh1 but it's a mix of european and US stuff, not the original vh1 channel
Beathe. Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 I really hope they'll air it here too Mhm, that would be awesome.
Jaymee!! Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 When BIAB was first coming out, Much Music used to play just an hour of it all the time. They cut out a lot of stuff, but that was how I saw the sneak preview. So it would be nice to see the FULL concert on tv...fuck, I haven't even watched BIAB in about a year
