I had MTV 10x10 thing on in the background and glanced over to the TV and I think it was about the dude from the WMUWSE video because I saw tiny clips of the video (no music, unfortunately).

In the film I just watched, they used the words: basket case, kill joy and chump :D

I remember hearing the term "Basket Case" in 8 Simple Rules once.

I found out that it's the annoying commercial that's being played every commercial block on MTV is the one where the dude picks out Peacemaker to listen to

there's no logic in the list though, he first selects 21st Century Breakdown for album, and then the first or second song on it is Peacemaker and the next one is Know Your Enemy.

In the movie castaway, there's a bit towards the start where Tom Hanks gives some kid a CD and tells him to listen to it, then he says "50 thousand fans can't be wrong" (or something like that), is the CD Dookie or is it just me being paranoid?

didn't expect that aha, love the way they keep their seriousness

oh and on the big fat quiz of the year yesterday, they mentionned 'keyboard cat', obv i got the vision of them re-enacting it lawl

^I saw that as well, I was hoping they'd play the green day version, oh well.

Never seen that! I want to see, haha.

Ummm. Well, I looked up "Teenie" on Urban Dictionary and almost every definition involved Green Day and "Billy Joel"

This morning on CBS Sunday Morning they played part of 21CB during a "year in review" thing, during a bit on health care reform. I was amused.

I was watching some show on TV and they were talking about a Captain Underpants. (well, technically that's a Network reference but well eh.)

And a while ago I saw a movie where a game of Kerplunk was lying under the bed.

Haha yes

Since I've started looking out for references I see them everywhere. Well, I'm not specifically looking for them, just paying attention if I happen to see one.
