Yuck  I'm so pissed off. I really hate Jet.

Great, I just realised I have to watch them to nights in a row.

I feel sorry for the girls that are going to every show.

I wanna know who the New Zealand one is! ><

I've never heard of them, but judging by the above posts I guess this is bad news? :P

Jet ripped Iggy Pop way before FBHT ripped Jet off of the SAME song, so in the FBHT's it was actually an Iggy Pop influence (I hope)

Aussie rockers JET have joined the Green Day 21st Century Breakdown Tour.

Arriving in Perth on December 4, the arena tour is set to be huge.

JET have just returned from a tour of America and will postpone their Sydney and Melbourne headline shows so that they can join Billie Joe Armstrong and the rest of Green Day's punk rockers as they travel the country.

Promoter Michael Gudinski said: "We're thrilled JET were able to accept Green Day's invitation to tour Australia with them. Both JET and Green Day are renowned for their explosive live concerts, so these shows are going to be massive."

JET, who hit the big time with their single Are You Gonna Be My Girl, released a new album, Shaka Rock, in August.

The tour has sold out across the UK and Europe and Green Day have been impressing fans all over.

A limited number of premium tickets to each Australian gig will be released.

Jet is such a bore live and nowhere near as 'explosive' as Green Day.

Ugh, well my sister was happy about the news.

Which means she'll probably make me see them again when we're at BDO.

Ahh WTF!?

Why couldn't we have The Living End!??? :'(

Oh Why?...... :(

You seem to be the only one that's happy about this.

Thats because most people in this thread wouldnt know good music (other than green day) if it hit them square in the face.:P

It's not the end of the world. It could've been alot worse.

But yeah, The Living End would've been a million times better for you, but they'll be in the UK in December.

Just because people don't like Jet doesn't mean they have shit taste it music all together lol.

Its a joke. But Jet are awesome, the new album is fucking amazing.

They arent the best live, judging from the videos. Bad singing and a bit boring.

Yeah, Jet really arent that bad... I was just really hoping that TLE would do it. That would have been Epic.... Oh well.. Jet's not too bad.

tbh the only song I've ever heard of them is Are You Gonna Be My Girl. and I totally hate that sooong. And they sound british, I always thought they were...

:ninja: I hope them get extremely pranked by Green Day on the last Australian date. Now that would be amazing.

This is great. I really like Jet. When they were starting out, they were the support band for another big band I saw .... I can't remember who it was now ... Rolling Stones? Hmm can't remember now but they were really good. This is good news :D

why do you guys hate them there a good aussie band

i have a question,. why there should be some bands supporting others in tours?

To get the crowd pumped, to create some kinda suspense on the main band act :)

I don't like Jet, but thei're pretty big in Australia and so I'm sure they're going to be well received.

What an utter shame...
