Green Day's first official live DVD, Bullet in a Bible, was released 4 years ago today. It was filmed in Milton Keynes Bowl in the UK in June 2005. It was directed by Sam Bayer.

Talk about the DVD, when you bought it, favorite moments, etc. :)

I got BIAB the day it came out. I had school that day, and I hated having to wait until afterwords to get it. I was in 6th grade, I think. My mom said she would get it for me, so I raced home and she still wasn't back. When she came back, she said there were no copies left and couldn't get one. I was so disappointed; I almost started crying, haha. Then she said she was just joking and handed it to me. I was pissed at her, but sooo happy at the same time. I watched it and was totally blown away.

Wow, I didn't even realize that this was the 4th Anniversary of BIAB. Happy Anniversary! :D

I remember getting BIAB in the summer of 2006 at a music shop about 35-40 minutes away from my home. I had never heard of it before, and I wanted it. But my parents disliked the fact that there was a parental advisory sticker on it. Somehow, though, I convinced them to let me buy it. For a while, they kept the DVD from me because they didn't want me to watch it. So one day, I just took it back (because I did buy it, after-all) and I watched it. I was amazed.

I really don't know why I didn't go to this gig =/

I was 17 when it came out and I remember getting the bus to college early so I could go to Woolsworth and buy it. I remember seeing it on the shelf and choosing my copy <3

Yay! I should try to watch BIAB soon, I feel like I have not watched it in awhile. I love it! We need one from this tour!

Ohhh, that was in seventh grade, just a month after I saw them live for the first time. After school that day, my mom drove me all the way to Santa Fe to buy it. I watched it when we came home but didn't watch Hitchin' a Ride until the next day when my mom wasn't around :P I thought the little tribute to Tré was HILARIOUS and watched it over and over... and the "uh! Uh! You like that, bitch?!" part, haha. My best friend at the time (who also loved Green Day) and I turned "mmm, mmm, mmm dirty" into an inside joke and... wow. I must have watched that DVD every day for a month.

A few weeks ago I stayed home sick and watched it again, and I cried during Jesus of Suburbia. It's so fucking powerful. I love the interview with Billie when he talks about the song and how much emotion is packed into it, because even just in a recording of it live, I was overwhelmed by how much feeling it emanates.

BIAB gave me the biggest goosebumps of my life.

Watching that dvd for the first time.. I can't even remember it exactly, but I just knew that I was blown away.

This kind of 'sealed' my love for GD. A kick ass show

Happy Birthday, BIAB!

I was working at my first job, which was the best music store in my town, at the time this was released. I remember being so excited that they actually released and did something with the concerts. I wished that I went to both, but I only went to the first day. Better than nothing. Anyway, I think I bought this the day it came out and I remember watching it over and over again when I got home during a lovely winters evening.

I stalked the shopkeeper for about a month asking him to save me a copy of it, since I couldn't go to the shop till the evening

Thankfully he did that.

With BIAB was love at first sight  , I used to watch it every day, I have memorized everything of it. The interview with Billie is amazing, and Tre singing the joint song is one of my favorite moments

Happy birthday! I hope Green Day will give you soon a little brother lol

Wooooooo happy birthday BIAB!

It was the first full Green Day 'album' I ever listened, when I first got into Green Day of course I looked up a bunch of songs on Youtube, but I also borrowed all their albums the library had, which were Warning, Nimrod and BIAB, and BIAB was the one I listened first.

Which also means that I watched BIAB and only knew a couple of songs on it (the AI songs). I don't know what I first thought of it, only that I absolutely loved that ultimate happy look on Billie's face he has at some point during Are We The Waiting, and of course WMUWSE.

It also has been my only way of listening the songs that aren't on Nimrod or Warning on my iPod for a while, because I refused to illegally download albums  It highly annoyed me that I couldn't understand what the crowd was saying during either JOS or some other song xD

I can't believe it's been four years since this came out!

I had no money when it came out so I had to wait for Christmas to get it. I used to go into the shops and stare longingly at it xD

Yay! Happy Anniversary BIAB!

I only got it this year actually (I was a late starter) but it took me ages to find it because nowhere had it in stock. Eventually found it on a stall for £10 in Camden Market in London, that was quite a bargain seen as to order it from HMV it was £21. Since then I must have watched it at least ten times, even my Grandma's borrowed it. My favourite bit has to be the tribute to Tre before Basket Case-Roll Roll Roll a joint, twist it at the ends! is currently my message alert

Happy 4th Birthday BIAB.

This DVD really got me interested in Green Day. I got American Idiot and liked that so got a couple of their older albums after that. Then i got this DVD and seeing them perform just made me me want to see them live rally badly (which i finally did a few weeks ago!) and i fell in love with this band and i then brought all of their albums. I watched the DVD so much especially when i first got it - after a while due to the amount of times i watched it and probably my carelesness it skipped bits and got stuck so i had to buy a new one. My favourite bits are probably King For A Day, Jesus Of Suburbia and the Tre montage bit.

Happy 4th BIAB. I was there on the second day, incredible show, and was thrilled when it was announced they were bringing out a DVD. How could they not!

This is an amazing DVD. I'm a Green Day n00b and I've only owned BIAB since April, but I love it and have it memorized. I got it at Best Buy for like 50 USD, but it was all worth it. This is also what really got my parents into GD. I think I'll watch it tonight. :D

4 years already? Wow. Happy 4th Birthday BIAB!

It's funny when I watch it, cause every time Billie says: 'Welcome to the Green Day world tour 2005!', I'm like: and it's 2009 now, this dvd is four years old! Time goes by so fast..

But it's awesome, I love to watch it. Writing this makes me want to watch it again

Yeah exactly!

and I'm like, woah. 2005. I was still in primary school by then (or maybe first grade of secondary, I'm not sure of the date it was filmed. ><). Had never even heard of Green Day.

Oh and can I laugh at everyone spending a lot of money on it? It cost me €10 :P (=almost $15 and almost 9 pounds)

It was BIAB that introduced to "old" Green Day. Went and bought everythin from 39/Smooth to Shenanigans. Happy days
