Times Square itself is pretty tame these days during NYE. There are a lot of barricades and whatnots and the police really corral people in these days. That said, it will be still be crazy because you have to get there really early for a good place, and I don't know where they are putting the bands this year since Times Square has been redone with Father Duffy Square being remodeled recently.

That said, sometimes we get warm NYE's here.

I will be going to this, I just hope there are some details coming from somewhere as the date gets closer.
