Hey, I'm new here so this is my first post. It could already be on.

Does anybody know what songs are played before Green Day come on stage. I went to see them at Manchester on the 30th and 31st on the latest tour, 21st Century Breakdown tour, and each night the PA pumped out the same songs. I'm guessing it's the same at most if not every venue in the UK, perhaps even America.

Would be great if anybody had a list. If anybody knows what songs played before the support band (Prima Donna for us) arrive as well would be great.

I know quite alot already but I'm sure I'm missing a few that I enjoyed. They play the best music before a show!

Any help is much appreciated, thank you!

I would also like the list.

They also played:

Californian Uber Allies - Dead Kennedys.

Freedom of Choice - Devo.

Drunk Bunny's playlist was;

Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough - Michael Jackson.

YMCA - Village People.

Do You Remember Rock 'n' Roll Radio? - Ramones.

I coulda sworn I heard Holiday in Cambodia - The Dead Kennedys Or it might've been California Uber Alles.

It was definitely Californian Uber Allies.

In Belgium they played

Should I stay or should I go (the clash)

I fought the law (bobby fuller version)

Don't stop till you get enough (MJ)

Rock 'n roll radio (ramones)

That's all I can remember for now :P

PS: judging by youtube videos, the last song is always rock 'n roll radio. ;)

I remember also The Beatles- Revolution. I was quite suprised when I heard that :).

And of course Rock'n'Roll Radio :D.

My Way by Frank Sinatra.

Was really surprised when I heard that, even more surprised when this guy behind me who looked like a typical metal head started singing it.

We've Had Enough by Alkaline Trio was played at the first show at the London O2 Arena. But it wasn't at Wembley.

Unity by Operation Ivy as well, I remember hearing that. And yeah My Way was quite unexpected, they were playing that as I was walking into the arena at the first London show

Before the Detroit show, they played:

My Generation - The Who

I Fought the Law - The Bobby Fuller Four

Surrender - Cheap Trick

Don't Stop Till You Get Enough - Michael Jackson

We Will Rock You - Queen

Should I Stay or Should I Go - The Clash

Dancing With Myself - Billy Idol

We're Not Going to Take It - Twisted Sister

There was Cherry Bomb by The Runaways too, but that was before The Bravery came on.

Edit: And of course, there was Rock and Roll Radio by The Ramones too.

California Uber Alles - Dead Kennedy's

I remember that too and I think it was the Network's version of Tennagers from Mars

E: Why do I open Tabs and answer just an hour later? -.-

there was definatly some oepration ivy & ramones at mine

Nah, I didn't hear the Network at any of the UK shows.

I wanna find out what the fuck that country song was that was played. You just KNOW Tre picked that one

I definitely remember Blitzkrieg Bob and I faught the Law...

We should make a definitive list of songs they played.

I think they played really crappy music in Hamburg in the beginning... I was kinda confused about that, but it became better later. They also played some of the songs you already named, like We're not going to take it.

Awww, I remember I got so excited when they played Rock n Roll Radio. When the guy said "This is rock n roll radio", I could've totally freaked out. :woot::lol:

I remember they played Taxman by The Beatles and One Hundred Punks by Generation X.

They don't play the SAME EXACT songs at each show, but they have a certain number of songs and they choose from those.

(I've been to 3 shows and they've played some songs the same but some new ones)

Yeah, in the shows after the O2 Arena, I heard a few more songs being played before Prima Donna came on.

"I Love Rock 'n' Roll" was one.

"I Wanna Rock 'n' Roll All Night" - Kiss.

they'll come to me in due time
