-Billiejoezee- Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Okay well Green Day plays any song perfectly at any concert. But some songs, they just do them better. Is there a song that you just love live? Like you love what Green Day does for that song?it can be a song you hate but love how it sounds live.

Rae'n'shine Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I freaked when they played When I Come Around at my show. Also, Minority and JOS.
Katarina. Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 All of them actually. I do love the live versions of JOS, 21CB, EJN and The Static Age. So much energy! I love Before The Lobotomy as well, didn't know it was such a good song to play live. And Good Riddance is amazing
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I don't know. Can't choose. I'd say She, Minority, King for a Day, JOS, Holiday, Hitchin' a Ride, Jaded....gah I can't choose, even now I didn't name everything I wanted to say Oh and of course Good Riddance. And Wake Me Up When September Ends :wub:And even though I've never seen it live except on videos, Give Me Novacaine is pretty cool too.
RebelofSuburbia Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 American Idiot, Know Your Enemy.. it seems like the songs I don't like as much as others on the albums really stand out as awesome live tracks for me Of course there's also the songs I do adore on albums as well:21st Century Breakdown (I didn't expect that but man what a perfect live song), Holiday, East Jesus Nowhere, When I Come Around I love the songs you can really jump and bounce around to.
The Disappearing Boy Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 yep, minority and JOS are pretty awesome too.
nimrod-41 Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I love what they do with Disappeaing Boy when they occasionally play it. When they make loads of songs out of the chords in the bridge.Last Night On Earth is just beautiful live. And you can't not love the epicness of an arena of people just living and breathing Jesus Of Suburbia.
-Billiejoezee- Posted November 2, 2009 Author Posted November 2, 2009 I'm not such a big fan of before the lobotomy but I loved it live.
