gehrc Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Doing a Graphic Design Project making a cover for Cigarettes and Valentines. On the CD, should I put:Money Money 2020 AlbumoarStop Drop and Roll Album?Personally, I just bought FHT and I LOVE IT. And I think it has a better chance of being C&V, but idk, you guys decide.Thankya!
Sarahnade. Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Why between the Network and FBHT when C&V is Green Day material?
gehrc Posted October 27, 2009 Author Posted October 27, 2009 Why between the Network and FBHT when C&V is Green Day material?Because they're both speculated to possibly be the released versions of C&V.
Sarahnade. Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 I knew Money Money 2020 was, but I don't think Stop Drop and Roll!!! was. But, at any rate, I suggest flipping a coin. Chance is cool. Or just choose which one you like more personally.

But still, I wanted to get an idea from the Community.
gabbag Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 I am confused about what your question is...like you are doing a cover and are you asking what cds music to use or track listing or what?
Fuzz Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 i don't think either of those were C&V. But if you really want to pick one, pick Money Money 2020. FHT was written after American Idiot.
Blu Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 I don't think Foxboro Hot Tubs has anything to do with Cigarettes and Valentines at all. I think they released Stop Drop and Roll exactly how they wanted to. I'd go with Money Money 2020 if you really want to choose one. Personally, I don't think that's Cigarettes and Valentines either, but if you need to choose one, I'd go with The Network.
BuriedInAHole Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 ^ I think so too, because Billie already said, that they wrote all of the songs for the Tubbies in 2007/2008 and that they were all drunk and they wrote 5 songs in one night..And The Network was way before American Idiot and maybe C & V...
The Disappearing Boy Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 go with the tubs.coz they are a billion times better than the network.
Mrs.Kerplunk Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 pick the network cuz just as someone already said, they wrote those songs before AIso it could be C&V
novacaine_kid Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Great another C&V thread...I'd go for network, although I don't think either album have anything to do with C&V personally
RobyRoom Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 go with the tubs.coz they are a billion times better than the network.Agreed
gehrc Posted October 27, 2009 Author Posted October 27, 2009 Haha cool. Thanks guys, I think I will go with the Tubs because that's what the poll says I should go with lol. I'll post pics when I get it back - apparently it was good enough that it will be in a display case for the next few weeks.
Sarahnade. Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 I say the Network, because I like them more and because they have been more closely related to C&V than FBHT.
Ila Reto Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Because they're both speculated to possibly be the released versions of C&V.hah actually my dear, only The Network would be speculated because it fits the time frame.
Lauren Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 When Stop Drop and Roll came out, I thought that's what Cigarettes and Valentines was supposed to be.
Guest Shangri-La Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 hah actually my dear, only The Network would be speculated because it fits the time frame.YESi don't think I fully understand the question but i'm gonna say The Network.i don't know if you were a fan during the time the network happened but it was a pretty big deal about whether C&V was Money Money 2020, even though it obviously wasn't.and FHT had nothing to do with it.

Juju Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 apparently it was good enough that it will be in a display case for the next few weeks.awesome!
Guest Shangri-La Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Unless they were saving C&V and decided to release it as the FBHT after AI came out.By the description of the song Cigarettes and Valentines I've come to the conclusion that it's not the case that FHT has anything to do with it.
