tvrman Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 UK single release date for 21 CB ?I have just found this here . I was hoping for Horeshoes & Handgrenades as a Christmas hit. 21st december seems a strange date though.tvrman
novacaine_kid Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Oh so we are getting this as a single then. Interesting.
farley drexel hatcher Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Whaaat. Officially confused now
parinaz Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 should wait till it gets confirmed by the official site.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Well that's nice I suppose.I don't really understand it, but I don't really try either.
tvrman Posted October 21, 2009 Author Posted October 21, 2009 Why the confusion ? As at today EJN is the single in the UK & US, 21CB is the single elsewhere in the world. Video releases are not single releases, and some videos never appear as singles. The site in the link gives a 21CB single release date.tvrman
RobyRoom Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 So, maybe the rest of Europe will get EJN on 21st December... umm... This doesn't make sense at all!!!Anyway, I want more songs out of this album, I was actually hoping for BTL as a Christmas gift
Katarina. Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Nice, interesting release date as well I (still) hope BTL will be the next single
emmaILGD! Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 It's not really that confusing. I wonder if we'll get any b sides with this.
Bastard of 1967 Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 It's not really that confusing. I wonder if we'll get any b sides with this.We can hope! I'd want to see any/all of the following:Drama Queen, acoustic Christie Road, acoustic
The Disappearing Boy Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 interesting.trust green day to have the most confusing single release ever!
emmaILGD! Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 interesting.trust green day to have the most confusing single release ever!Well, Beyonce had one of the most confusing single releases of ALL TIME.i'm pretty sure someone's said that before.
Kryssi. Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 If this is true, that's great but that's quite a while away.
Smoothed Out Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Oh, it's already showing the vid on UK tv though, so how can that make sense?I'm confused
Jaymee!! Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 okokokokokokokokokokokokOKAYSOlet me get this straight:EJN is the current single right now, for the US, Canada & UK. There is no video to be shown on tv, but the EJN video on GD.com is the official video.21st CB is ALSO the current single right now, for anyone NOT in 3 said countries. There IS a video to be shown on tv, which will more than likely be available around the world.OFFICIALLY FUCKING CONFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSED.

Bexie. Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 ^^ Same actually, i've seen it on the Kerrang! channel a couple times

I'm sure East Jesus Nowhere will be on TV though, the same way St. Jimmy was. I think they should have made a real video and released it all properly. Anyway, as for this December business, I don't know whether to treat this as legit news or not. You usually don't know about a single release this far in advance. And I don't know if that's a credible source.
Jaymee!! Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 WUUUUUUUTSt. Jimmy was on tv?I don't get why they feel the need to pretty much separate the world with their singles. The top 3 countries (for their music) get the single that isn't really circulating and seems to be causing a lot of confusion, while it IS the desired single from fans. The rest of the world gets another good song, legit promos and coverage of the new video (which kicks so much ass by the way) all around the world, despite only being meant for the smaller places.I mean, I never even knew that the EJN video was official. I always had a hankering it was, but since there was never any major coverage about it I just sort of forgot. But the 21st CB video got insaaaane coverage, and I've seen it being talked about on Much already.Oh wait, my brain fart just dissolved.21st CB will be coming to the UK, USA and Canada in December, to catch up with the rest of the world?
norcalgreendayfan Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 interesting.trust green day to have the most confusing single release ever!More like Warner for setting up the most confusing single release ever. I mean really who ever are handling this at Warner are a bunch of knuckleheads who need to be replaced with someone competent who can effectively manage a single release so that every one in the world are able to access it.
tvrman Posted October 21, 2009 Author Posted October 21, 2009 KYE, 21Guns and EJN are on regularly every day on UK TV, and so will 21CB when Scuzz & Kerrang get it.tvrman

You can add at least 3 other tracks every day on the likes of Kerrang & Scuzz and that is without considering MTV Two, TMF and VH-1. I do not think I ever watch these channels without seeing Green Day within the hour. Sadly you can add a few other bands (that I do not like, eg Kings of Leon) who also get regular airplay.tvrman
