Ok, not gonna lie, I'm excited about Green Day AND Gaga. They had the two best VMA performances, and I bet the same will hold true this time!

(Obviously I'm more excited about Green Day, but hey, if Gaga will make the show less torturous for me, woohoo!)

Is anyone else surprised that GD attends and plays all these lame @ss awards shows? I hear the USG forces Guantanamo detainees to watch videos of the shows as a torture tactic.

They're awards voted for by us fans and they like to take opportunities to play anywhere and to new faces. Get their music to more people who wouldn't normally see them.

Most of these award shows aren't that bad. If you don't want to watch them then don't.

I am always extremely happy too see them playing these things. They don't compromise themselves and it's a celebration of how far they've come.

I'll take more Green Day, any day.

We can just make multiple accounts, I guess, although I would rather if we could just get everyone (well all the active people who are still Green Day fans) to give 2 minutes of their time, to sign up and vote once.

We'd almost definatly win it then. It'd be great if one of the mods(not sure if they can do it) or admins would put it up on a red banner as an announcement. Also if it was posted about some more on GDA. After all, it's a real award. And they'll be there. Plus, it's been over-shadowed by the Fuse thing so it needs more publicity.

Yeah, it's really annoying. Once you're signed up it's not too bad though.

And yeah, I can see why you're tempted but let's just forget about it. It's a tv countdown! Plus we did amazingly well anyways.

I told you they were cheating. God, I'm still so mad about this... I need to get over it, but we took some print screen of them talking about the cheating (they also posted a picture of the damn program - not ghost mouse and alike - that actually made 1 vote into 10000), and I can't believe they are bragging about winning after this kind of fuckery. But I believe we won-- FUCK THE NUMBERS, we won. I wasn't here with you the whole time (I'm from Brazil and I was voting with other Brazilians, sorry. It's easier to write without thinking about misspellings and shit), and I'm sorry some of you thought I was like... Some Paramore fan trying to make you cheat. I was just so MAD they were cheating... *le sigh*. I'm emailing Fuse with this print screens about the cheating, and after that I think I'll get over it.

I was stating MY view on these awards shows (as well as the actor ones too) - they have always seemed like nothing more than the industry pimping itself in the most self-promoting way, however thank you for the advice, I will continue not to watch them and thankfully I can rely on the GDC to put up the Green Day performances to watch and not have to slog thru hours of it. My humor may be sad and demeted but it comes from a genuine place!
