lookoutrebelgirl Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 This is a great idea for a thread! I don't like looking at pictures of the new guitars. I only like blue
Seedless_Reject Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 I went to Music Center with one of my guy friends and while he went to look for something that he needed for his amp, I went around looking at the guitars. Low and Behold when I was walking towards my friend I looked up and saw a Fender Strat that looked exactly like Blue (without the stickers). I was literally freaking out (in my mind) and then I looked at the price. It was over $1000.
henderson dirnt Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Billie has a lot of replicas of Blue, right?
Seedless_Reject Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Billie has a lot of replicas of Blue, right?yup, he had retire the original 'blue' a while ago

Playtypus Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 Billie is playing replicas now, the original blue broke so bad that it isnt useable any more.He used to play with it in studio but not live. He bought a bunch of Fernandez Strats and made his own replicas which he plays now.

Ingrid Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 ^^ Actually no, that's what most people think but Bill Schneider was on this forum a while back and explained that Billie got the original Blue fixed some years ago, and it's now the only Blue you see him use. All the replicas were either destroyed or given away, I think.Edit: here is the link to his posthttp://www.greendaycommunity.org/Forum/ind...amp;pid=2956736

Juliette Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 It looks really disgusting in some of the pics About the only semi-decent picture I managed to take of Blue. I get what people were saying before, it's kinda wierd seeing it in the flesh haha.

Atcs64 Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 what the fuck. they are all scratched up on the back on the same spot. what the hell is billie doing lolA lot of belts will scratch the backs of guitars up while they are being played.. happens all the time. Billie moves around so much it scratches all over the top edge.
