OK so theres the people that will bash green day, but ever come across a fellow green day fan at random, or found out that someone you nver knew liked them, actually does?

Maybe they picked up on a quote, commented on your cool GD t shirt, rather than saying its gay?

Start up a conversation or a friendship?

For example, I was at HMV and i asked whether they had any GD posters and then th guy asked whether i was going to see them on Dec 8th, so i said yeah and hes like oh cool so am I.

I actually just met this girl in my health class. I started talking to her, and she asked me what I did this summer. I told her how I visited Chicago and went to a Green Day show. She was like, "Oh, cool! I'm actually learning one of their songs on guitar!" I asked her which song, and she said 'Time of Your Life.'

I don't know, I just didn't anticipate her being a Green Day. Meeting a Green Day fan at my school is a very rare occurance.

I was at a show once and started talking to another chick there about concerts we were going to that summer. I mentioned I was going to catch Green Day in Atlanta. Well, she started flipping shit about how huge of a fan she was, so of course I followed suit and we had a great bonding moment. Later in the evening I introduced her to my friend who is a drummer in a really good local act -- he's also a big Green Day fan (que bondage, but not the cool kind). As it turns out the girl was the head editor of a local magazine's entertainment section and ended up writing a story on my buddy's band which got them some great gigs in turn.

I was wearing a Green Day shirt one time when I went to the mall. This guy that walked pass me said, "Hey, cool shirt. Green Day fucking rocks!" He gave me a 'rock sign' with his fingers, winked at me, and smiled before walking on again. I actually hope I see him again someday. He seemed pretty rad.

Also, there was this one time a few weeks ago in Calgary, I was also wearing a Green Day shirt when I went for ice cream. The girl that was serving ice cream saw my Green Day shirt and was like, "Awesome shirt. Did you go to their concert?" So, I said yes and she said she did as well. We had a short conversation and she ended up giving me two extra scoops for the price of one and she gave me a discount.

Me and my friend were at school and we saw a girl with the same Green Day patch (is that the name? you sew it to your backpack (Y)) that I have. That was on april...Then, on May 15th, I went to the record store to buy my 21stCB and she was there, and we started to talk xD We're friends now

This was foreeeeever ago, but the day after I saw Green Day at the Home Depot Center this random guy in my class walked up to me at lunch and said he saw me there and we went on to talk about how much we like the band. I was totally shocked that he happened to spot me and that he liked Green Day that much.

And I purposely wore Green Day shirts at practice all the time just to piss him off.

Every time, he gave me a lecture about how much bad influences they are. All I did was sing in my head, tuning him out. That's how I roll.

I met some girl at an arcade, we were both wearing green day shirts and started talking and she seemed alright, and we exchanged myspaces/facebooks whatever, and turns out shes just one of those fans that are like "OmGZ, BiLLy JO iS sO FrIgGin HOT!!!!"

I get it a lot. Pretty much whenever I wear my FBHT shirt, I get a comment on it. And a few times I've gotten asked about the pick Mike gave me (I wear it all the time). My GD love has started many a conversation...I've also had random people on the street come up to me and start singing their songs. That was sorta weird...

My friend let one of his friends borrow his GD armband at work one night and she got a huge tip from some people who were GD fans, lol
