Funniest Green Day TV Moments

My personal favorite is their whole interview on MuchMusic during the Warning: era (if you still don't know what I mean, Billie's wearing his grey&black striped shirt, and Tre's wearing a beanie with a flame design on it). I don't know if a video of the whole interview in its entirety exists, but clips of it were used A LOT in their Egos and Icons special.

Highlights:

Billie: "Hey, have you ever eaten a clump of a woman's period before?"

Tre: "... Yeah, actually."

Billie's whole speech about how the vocalists for Nickelback, Creed, and Staind sound like Cher.

Billie: "You know, Mariah Carey, when she was all down and stuff? I mean... who cares?! You know? Everyone else has their own problems. Why do we have to deal with her cause she put out a crappy movie?! I mean, go to hell!"

Billie: "Michael Jackson IS dangerous."

Tre: "Around your young son!"

Tre: "Yeah, I need a ummmm Canadian passport..."

Billie: "Oh, yeah, Tre has trouble getting into Canada these days. That's what you get for drunk driving and running into a police officer!"

Tre: ".... Sorry?"

*Billie cracks up*

Tre: "Well, I mean, he hit me, but you know, what are ya gonna do?"

Interviewer: "How do you feel about celebrities saying they fell into a life of drugs?"

Tre (mockingly): "Yeah, I just tripped and fell on a syringe, and oh no!"

Billie (mockingly): "*sniff* Oops! *sniff* Nooo!"

Mike (mockingly): "I can't deal with all this pain!"

Mike: "Bullshit!"

I watch that clip at least once a week, generally more. The interviewer is so terrible, which makes it all the funnier when they hijack the show and put on an impromptu performance of one of my favorite songs!
