Mini Billie provides hours of fun.And I made a birthday card for my sister featuring, among other things, cut out photos of her, Billie, Mike, Tre, and her boyfriend . Between us my family must have made at least 10 Green Day related birthday and christmas cards.

On the way to the Atlanta show I got bored and sketched cartoons of them on a napkin we had in the car -- no idea where that is now, though. When I was 16 my best friend and I did a ton of stuff in the spirit of Green Day. Stuff like going streaking at 3 in the morning screaming "Welcome to Paradise," as the nieghborhood dogs chased us or smoking pot under the bridge below our houses (okay, so my friend smoked pot and I sat there paranoid the cops were going to catch us).Yeeeah, Green Day inspired us to do some dumb crap.
dolce Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 Plenty of stuff I'm sure I won't be able to remember right now...Alot of the poems I write have to do with how they, or music in general, changed my life. I've written several poems/short stories where I've used Green Day lyrics for the titles (one off the top of my head - "Of Love and Razorblades"). My cat's "middle name" is Billie Joe, lol. I wrote up reviews of the shows I've been to, and made myself playlists of the songs they played on Itunes. And then there's the 12 Green Day cork-boards that fill up my wall space with pictures and quotes - yes, that took a long time. But it was a labor of love, for sure.

Little Girl on piano (if that counts)- I used to have my own Green Day website called 'Deadbeat Holiday' ... it still exists, I just stopped updating frequently.- Currently, I'm writing a story about a boy who goes through a crap-load to do an opening act with his band for Green Day. (Yes, I know it sounds lame but I'm terrible with descriptions).

I know you guys might not have heard of it, it's www.greendayauthority.com.-I have 6 Green Day related-tattoos.-I drew a picture of Billie Joe years and years ago and sent it to him.-My new puppy's middle name is Haushinka. -I engraved the back of my new red iPod nano with "Marching out of time...to my own beat now."Like I said, there's more. I've been obcessed for 15 years. So yeah, there's a lot. But I don't feel like spending all night here.

It's about how Green Day has affected my life and how I came to love them.~I have a journal where I talk about everything Green Day has been up to and how I feel about it~They inspired me to play guitar and get interested in music in general. Before GD I couldn't have cared less about music at all.
