Valkin Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Does anyone know where i can buy Green Day Stencils and Band Stencils online? I want to paint my room with all the various logos and symbols.
Harriet Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 i don't know if you can, i think people just make them themsleves but if you can buy them i definitely want some.
Kaddi. Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 I don't know if something like this even exists... But you could just make them on your own or ask someone creative you know to help you.
melanie. Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 There's some here:http://www.kittybuttons.com/stencils/categ...0day/index.htmlOr you can just make your own.It isn't hard, you just change it to black and white and mess with the contrast/brightness and threshold.
Valkin Posted August 8, 2009 Author Posted August 8, 2009 Ye but i need ones that i can order that are really big
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Do you have a projector? (dunno if projector is the right word..) Otherwise you can maybe borrow one. Then you can print it out small, put it on the projector and it projects the pic on the wall, way bigger. (and draw the outlines with pencil, fill it in with paint)
Valkin Posted August 8, 2009 Author Posted August 8, 2009 Well what im looking for is the large symbols and then i want to spraypaint over and then take it away.
emilyi Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Stencilpunks.org have a lot of bands, but not Green Day.They're not that big but you could enlarge them on your computer, then print them out and trace them.
DeJennsitized Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I wish I was more help, but making your own wouldn't be that hard. It'll add to the originality of the stencils if you drew them yourself, right?
ParadoxAndPlaid Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I'd say your best bet is to make one. all you need is big paper, a marker, and an exacto knife. It might take a little practice, but at least you'll end up with exactly what you want.you can also go to a printing shop and ask them to blow up a picture to a good size if you aren't comfortable free handing.
Valkin Posted August 9, 2009 Author Posted August 9, 2009 I can draw pretty well, but the cutting out will go messy, especialy cutting out the Green Day Lighting Bolt Man thing, would rather have a profesinol design.
Nobody_Likes_You Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I painted some of the Dookie art myself on my wall.. It isn't that hard, jut just draw it on paper once and then with a pencil on your wall and then with some paint on the wall..
Nele Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 yeah i think you can do it pretty good yourself. i'm going to get the band from the Shenanigans cover on my wall. I'll probably just draw it on a big piece of cardboard and then transcribe it on the wall. And if it really looks bad you can always paint it over again.
emmaILGD! Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I'm doing the same in my room. I looked for stencils but I couldn't find any, so I'm just drawing them out first and then painting. And like Nele said, if it looks bad you can always paint it again.
Luci_Minority Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 Now I have the idea to do the same in my room My mom will kill me
