steelthorne Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 This has really been bugging me and my girlfriend. The mask that Tre' has been wearing lately at the shows during opening acts sets is NOT the same mask that he wears as the snoo. Its red and it covers his whole face. The snoo wears a mask that has a mouth hole and it's a completely different color. here's the snoo:If anyone has a good picture of Tre wearing the red mexican wrestling mask he has been wearing at shows lately, please post it for comparison.
warding_off_regrets Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 It's not the same mask that The Snoo wears no, but even the lead singer for The Bravery referred to him as "The Snoo" at the show in Albany.

Different. He would NEVER appear as the snoo at a green day show, because green day will never admit they are associated with the network. duh

Fink Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 well its not!!!! he is NOT the snoo. he is dressed like a wrestler. Different. He would NEVER appear as the snoo at a green day show, because green day will never admit they are associated with the network. duhExcept when they did admit it...
warding_off_regrets Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 ...does it really make a difference....No But it's late and I'm bored, so as long as the thread stays open...why the hell not!
steelthorne Posted August 8, 2009 Author Posted August 8, 2009 fine then- close the thread. You could at least be a little less hostile, way to be a "community" guys, really.

Fink Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 if theyre never going to admit to being associated with the network, maybe fink should try and hide his tattoos a little better. Again, except when they did admit it. They already admitted it, why am I the only one remembering this?
Kryssi. Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 I knew that it wasn't the Snoo, the guys whoever it was need a schlap.
Eldoon Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Tre may not be wearing The Snoo mask, but if you watch any of the Albany prank videos you can see that one of the strippers IS.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dz4E6D77J4wSo I guess, technically, if you count someone in The Snoo's mask as "The Snoo" then he WAS present? Bit of a stretch, I know! This also raises the question...if Tre just happened to have the Snoo mask on him...does GD constantly tour with The Network outfits? Could they really perform as The Network whenever they wanted to, but just choose not to? Spitballin', here, I hardly believe myself.
GDM Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 I know that when he first went on in Albany, I thought the SNOO also... and that's what I wrote on my blog. But I think you also have a point but it's a fine distinction. Maybe since there is no name yet for this new character in a red mask, the SNOO is the closest that comes to thought w/o saying "Tré" because, well, it's not really Tré, but a Tré-like character that comes closest to the SNOO.So, for lack of a better name, doesn't the SNOO fit? Or at least until they reveal a name?I hope I get this in before Courtney closes it...

Geez. And yes, Fink does need to do a better job at hiding his tattoos. And I think it's just plain ole Tre with a wrestling mask on. As for the Bravery dude, are we talkin' about the guy that looks like he's on herion? The lead singer? Personally, I don't think Green Day will ever record/show up as The Network again.....I think they have more fun with Foxboro Hottubs.

Lauren Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Who says The Snoo can't wear a different mask if he wants to?! FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION!
GDM Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 why is it bugging you?good question.also, i looked at the entire thing as "the snoo in cognito."
Lauren Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 I don't think it is. He just wants to inform people. I think it's pretty interesting. much better than the "do you prefer pen or pencils" thread.
fashionvictim86 Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 thank you courtney. Geez I just realized that you were at 3 Green Day shows I was at (2 Philly and 1 Pittsburgh). I would have went to the one in Hershey in 2005, but I went to Philly instead. I did see them in Hershey though for Pop Disaster in 2002.

.Militza. Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 why is that bugging you? The guy changed the damn mask, that's it
