Has anyone ever heard the song Things I heard today? I was on azlyrics.com and I saw that under the Green Day songs.

^ In late 2001/2002 Billie Joe recorded a series of phone messages for fans to listen to on greenday.com . For some of the messages he'd play a song down the phone, and this was one of the songs. It's a cover but I can't remember who did the original.

You can also download most of the other songs he did from that link above: The First Noel, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, Rockin Around The Christmas Tree, Why Does It Always Rain On Me and Minnesota Girl. He did an untitled Network-like song too but it's not there.

I think you can download all the messages somewhere in the download links here on GDC if you wanna hear them.

this song is excellent. i wish they would have properly released the answering machine demos. i really liked "what about today" or whatever it was called.
