I hope they perform EJN. If they open the show, that'd be a great opener, better than KYE or 21 Guns

I was thinking that, but then how about a GD medley?

*if someone is reading this make them do a GD medley*

:D

I don't get it. You in California got four secret shows and you've got lots of other things. Look at us Europeans, we have nothing.

Will be worth watching i guess:) Thanks

E: Uups, too late :D someone else pointed it out already

And the UK got fuck all so far :/

*feels unloved*

(Oh and Rocktober is something we have done for ourselves around the band touring, they don't have anything to do with it or know about it etc.)

They'll know about it when we turn up :D

I bloody hate MTV & the VMAs but at least they'll be one thing on it worth watching this year. Hopefully Russell Brand can attempt to be amusing as well.

I refuse to watch just to get a glimpse of Green Day

Awesome! Although this means I have to actually make myself watch the VMAs this year.

I was thinking the same thing.

I hate the MTV VMA's. I watched them in 2005 when Green Day won 31687414178 times, but, other than their performance and them winning all of those awards, everything else was beyond sucking. So, I'll suffer through it again this year.

And I think Billie was probably being sarcastic, ahaha.

Does anyone know if Green Day are nominated for anything?

yeah and everybody could go there of course.

at least i have an excuse to watch MTV again, but please let the shows happen to an acceptable time and not like the Grammys last year at 2am to 5am.

That's cool!

They might be invited to the EMA's, as they will be in Europe at the beginning of November! I think it's in Germany this year.

I thought about something, as they are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the band, maybe they'll receive a special award for their career?

yay!! I'm curious as well to find out why it's gonna be 'memorable'..

since I hate the VMAs anyway, I'll just record it and then fast forward through all the crap that isn't Green Day related

It's their 3rd VMA performance, I believe.

They want to play KYE? I guess that would be good to get people pumped up, but I was expecting 21 Guns since it's the new single.

It doesn't really matter though; either song would be awesome.

Well easier for those in Europe since everythings pretty close together and its a train ride away

^Yeah, EJN would be awesome, but I think 21 Guns would be the obvious choice.

If they were kicking off the show, I'd understand KYE because it would get the crowd going and singing along and everything. If they were to play in the middle or near the end when things start dying down, I'd see 21 Guns. It's exciting, but more calm and mellow. I don't know, that's just my theory.
