mallorymaloney Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 He's only been around since the American Idiot era, correct ...?Just wondering if he's been around longer ... I don't ever remember seeing him before then! And does anyone know the exact date when he first appeared, and who, exactly, he's 'played' by? Any facts would be stellar.
Wolfdemon Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 No idea about when he first became a mascot, but I hear the bunny's Tre. We were just discussing this in Mike's picture thread
Lauren Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Not Tre. I saw who it was in there. Well, I mean, I saw what he looked like. I had no idea who it was, but it definitely wasn't Tre.
Katherine Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 It wasn't Tre last night...When he turned around, I saw up the back of his mask and his hair was brown. Therefore, not Tre. Maybe Jason? Who knows.
Supermodel*Robot Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 I'm pretty sure they change up who it is every now & then. It's not like anyone would notice.
Nimrod99 Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 The bunny started showing up around the Warning Tour. I remember seeing him at a show I went to for the Warning tour. Ah good times those were. That was a freaking great show.

Ah good times those were. That was a freaking great show.I think he was at Pop Disaster, right?I don't remember if he was there at the Warning show I went to, to be honest. The pink bunny is no member of Green Day. He is a member of the crew.
Atticus Finch Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Oh, he's showing up on this tour too? I had no idea. That's cool.
norcalgreendayfan Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Hell I'd be the bunny if i could, least that way I'd get to be on tour with them

Any facts would be stellar.I saw the drunk bunny on pop disaster, but i dont believe he was on taste the lightning, so thats prolly when it started... does anyone know why they have a drunk bunny before their set, is there some significance to this?
Harriet Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Its definitely a crew member, but other than that no idea-it's a mystery...like the Stig!
Jack96 Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 I kind of like not knowing who it is :/Same its nice to have it as a Secret
Poo Flinger Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Maybe they hired the Sasquatch to be the bunny. You know.. I think you might be right.
toaster_poodle Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 It's definitely not someone that's actually in the band, and I heard it's not the same guy every time. They've got plenty of crew members to choose from.
Tiffx Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Was around during Warning era. Either way, the drunk bunny is annoying.
Hermione Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 ^ I can't wait to see the legendary drunk bunny!I remember a few years ago they had a phone interview with the drunk bunny in, I think, Kerrang. He said the suit had never been washed . Must've just spoken to whatever roadie was playing the bunny at the time. It's been going for a while hasn't it? I mean from the Nimrod era onwards they'd have their horn/trumpet players wearing silly bee costumes and stuff, I could imagine it starting then.

He started on the Warning tour.
