elanorelle72 Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 now...We see that Green Day has been to many cities in Canada and USA and going to be in UK ,Europe , and Down UnderPlease list places where they have either not played in like 20 years or haven't played at all but shouldI will update this front page as time goes onI will start:Victoria BC1. Beautiful scenery..lots of nature 2.Huge massive punk rock scene3 Fans are insane here ( first people at the Vancouver line were actually from Victoria)4. We do have proper facilities5. We are not in the boonies as people suggest6. Lots of music festivals...7. The worlds largest selection of Converse Shoes...especially the Red BJA ones8. Insane amount of Green Day stuff,..I haven't had to mail out for anything yet9. there is a huge Green Day fan (confirmed by me asking) at Chapters because NME and Kerrang magazines are available for sale now10. More tattoo parlours any where11. More musicians per capita on the planet12. The record stores actually have the FBHT CD and file them under G..patches..post cards...posters13. First city (in Canada) to have Green Day play...and even in a fan's basement14. We party hard 15. we have twice as many people as Saskatoon ( no offence...just an observation)16. we have no problem getting 60,000 people together at once ..quickly17 Green day fans are abundant..wear a Green day t-shirt...you might get mugged or kidnapped (almost happened to me) because they wanted to be at the concertSo add your wishes and your reasons....I made sure a musician came to Vancouver and he did...so I think this can workShangrila's House ( big fucking party that would be!)Till Lindemann: Lowell, MASt, Jimmi-Regina SKKatherine-Poughkeepsie, NYPeace & Rainbo...-Rochester NYTeenage Lush-Evansville Indiana¿Whatsername?-House of Blues, in Boston MA (fantastic venue!!!!!!I have seen pics )Lilliabdalla-any place in Brazil!! Greenday_Aussie Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Wow, that sounds like a real kickass place. Nice plug. I especially like the Converse part
norcalgreendayfan Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 That sounds awesome I would even have to make the trip to Victoria from california just to see them play if they had a show there
TheGreenDayFreak163 Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 THE TIVOLI, BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA!The brisbane entertainment centre is too effing big. Who wants to be sitting down at a green day concert? and poor die hard fans who have to sit up the back because people who aren't even die hard fans take up all the seating area... that's just not fair. there's probably only like 150 really hardcore Green day fans in Brisbane, and I'm one of them. I think they should perform heaps of times at small venues. so we can all have our quality greenday/up-close crowd time :-) and the tivoli is the size of a large cafe. Freaking awesome place.PLEASE, GD, PLEaSE!!
blitzkriegdeb Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Lowell, MAThere's a really good bar right down the street from the Tsongas Arena. And mainly because it's easier for me to get to then Boston.
Sharmellow Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Regina, Sk.1. Brandt Center is nearly the same size, if not bigger, than the Credit Union Center at Saskatoon.2. I live here. 3. I don't think they've actually played here before.4. There's many Green Day fans here, although, I don't think many of them know about GDC
Katherine Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Poughkeepsie, NY:1. I live here2. There are fourish different places to play, from a VERY intimate club to a big arena.3. Never played here before.4. Always a bar nearby. Always!
Peace and Rainbows Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Rochester New YorkWe got RITAn awesome coffee shop AND I COULD GET FUCKING TICKETS!
elanorelle72 Posted July 13, 2009 Author Posted July 13, 2009 awesome ideas!!will update the first page in a few!xxoo
Boston Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 House of Blues, Boston, MA: 1. Medium-sized venue. About 5,000 people sell out the place. That way, an intimate experience can be created while giving people a reasonable chance to get tickets. 2. Awesome atmosphere.3. They never play small shows in Boston - and without Boston, there would not be America.
liliabdalla Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Brazil! any city they wantthey came here just em 1998; promised us that they would during AI tour, but they didn't
TheBullwinkle Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 The Phoenix Theater, Petaluma, CA1. Because, goddamnit.
Jack96 Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 They should play the Hordern Pavillion and have a show where theyre really close to their fans
fashionvictim86 Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 4. Always a bar nearby. Always!Psh then they should play in my town. At my old apartment there was 5 bars within walking distance.
thenextsexpistol_mak Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 if they dont come to mexico for this tour somebody is gonna get hurt
fashionvictim86 Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Rochester New YorkWe got RITAn awesome coffee shop AND I COULD GET FUCKING TICKETS!I saw them in Rochester, NY in 2004. Hell, I met them at the Meet and Greet they had there at Circuit City! I didn't even have tickets to the show, but there was a radio station there, and since I was in the first in line and stood out in the freezing cold all day, they gave me tickets.
...staples? Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Albequerque and Lubbock! Desert people need love too!
norcalgreendayfan Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 The Phoenix Theater, Petaluma, CA1. Because, goddamnit.I'd drive to Petaluma for that show
