amy_runs Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 I was thinking about this the other day. It's been happening to quite a few people so I was curious what you guys would do. If you were front row, the closest possible at a Green Day show, and Billie offered to pull you up (either to sing/dance/play/crowd surf) would you do it even if you lost your spot? This has happened to me (at a FBHT show) and I still can't decide which I should have done. I went on stage, but I lost my spot and could barely see the rest of the show. And I'm not sure if I regret it or not.You know how he asks people "Who plays the guitar? "Who knows the lyrics?" I mean like that. Raising your hand and having him see and choose you. Not like if he just looked at you directly and asked, "Want to come up?"So let's say Green Day was half way through a show, and you are against the stage as close as possible, right in the center, and you have the chance to go on stage. What do you do?(you can close if it's not a worthy topic, and I searched!)
MassHysteria Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 I would go on stage, much more special, and sometimes you even get to stay up there for the rest of the show.
Lauren Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 I would definitely go on stage. It creates a great memory, and sometimes you get to meet the guys afterwards! Plus, I'm seeing them three times this tour. So I don't mind losing my spot for one show.
emmaILGD! Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Stage. It won't happen this time around though, I got really high seating tickets
amy_runs Posted July 9, 2009 Author Posted July 9, 2009 Stage. It won't happen this time around though, I got really high seating tickets Me too. Except mine aren't very high. I'm just extremely depressed that my dad wouldn't let me get GA
Lauren Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Actually, think about this. Would you really turn down Billie like that by not going on stage when he asks you to?! That's like an f you to him.
Laura! Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Actually, think about this. Would you really turn down Billie like that by not going on stage when he asks you to?! That's like an f you to him. I wouldnt turn it down. Noooo wayyy. I'd definitely go onstage. But... I'd probably forget the lyrics because of him being right there.
Lauren Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Me too. Except mine aren't very high. I'm just extremely depressed that my dad wouldn't let me get GA Why not?oh, and someone got pulled out of a seat to go on stage before. It could happen.

Good point, though most people that want to are screaming at him begging, and you won't do that unless you want to go up.
amy_runs Posted July 9, 2009 Author Posted July 9, 2009 Actually, think about this. Would you really turn down Billie like that by not going on stage when he asks you to?! That's like an f you to him. Well not necessarily like that. You know how he asks people "Who plays the guitar? "Who knows the lyrics?" I mean like that. Raising your hand and having him see and choose you. Not like if he just looked at you directly and asked, "Want to come up?" Why not?oh, and someone got pulled out of a seat to go on stage before. It could happen. He said exactly "I don't want you to die."LOL come on! I've been in a mosh pit before and I don't think Green Day concerts are even that bad. Oh well. I'm going to find my way down there  And really? That makes me happier!
emmaILGD! Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Me too. Except mine aren't very high. I'm just extremely depressed that my dad wouldn't let me get GA Mine are up in the fucking sky! But, I won't let that spoil my night, I could always do a really dangerous crowd surfing stunt down to the front.
Tubbie Head Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 I would prefer that Billie didn't pick me.. Because.. I would be scared and super nervous.. then I wouldn't be able to do anything.. I would just be in Shock. That's the way I am. damn me And The reasons you referred, losing my spot ..And then wouldn't be able to watch rest of the show that great..I know that being on stage with GREEN DAY must be an amazing thing.. but then.. There is ME.. I couldn't handle such a thing.. But.. If Billie asked me to come.. I would of course.. What could I do?? say NO? meehh.. Maybe I'm thinking too much about being on stage with Green Day.. This days.. But I guess.. If that happens.. I would have the time of my life.. (Even though I will have the time of my life, just by seeing them)

Raising your hand and having him see and choose you. Not like if he just looked at you directly and asked, "Want to come up?" In that case.. I wouldn't raise my hand.. (at this point) If I was at the show.. I think I would :woot: and then.. It's FUCK EVERYTHING ELSE.. I'm HERE WITH BILLLIE FUCKIN' JOE!!!!!!
thenextsexpistol_mak Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Actually, think about this. Would you really turn down Billie like that by not going on stage when he asks you to?! That's like an f you to him. if billie told me to jump of a building i would probably do it
emmaILGD! Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 That would be amazing! It's a very good idea too.... Do you actually want me to fall to my death?
amy_runs Posted July 9, 2009 Author Posted July 9, 2009 Do you actually want me to fall to my death? No no no! I was thinking of me doing it
Anja Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 I would definitely go on stage. It creates a great memory, and sometimes you get to meet the guys afterwards! Plus, I'm seeing them three times this tour. So I don't mind losing my spot for one show. This. Even if it´s just 3 minutes on stage with them, it´s something you will never forget, a lifetime experience!
Sharmellow Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Stage for sure. I mean, what an opportunity if out of all people he chooses me! Sure, I may lose my spot, but being on stage is so worth it. Making your own memories.

Actually, did you see 100% Green Day? They said there was a kid in the balcony... THE BALCONY- not just the first section ... who wanted to play guitar with them. They said if he jumped off and crowd surfed up there, they'd let him play. So he did! He jumped off the freaking balcony and landed in the crowd and crowd surfed all the way up to the stage!!! Mike said he didn't have a hangnail on him or anything.
Zo-e Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Stage. unless i was being stupid and raised my hand when he said "Who knows how to play guitar" And embarress myself in front of the whole crowd because i only know how to play two songs. If that would happen, front row(:
