GreenDayEd1039 Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 I got a messed up copy of the special edition vinyl for 21st Century Breakdown. There were 2 copies of Act II but no Act III. If anyone got 2 copies of Act III but no Act II, let me know. Maybe we can trade. I called warner brothers customer service and they haven't decided if I should send the whole package back or just the extra record. I decided to take this route instead. -Ed
Mato Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 You should keep this one and they should send you one more
Kryssi. Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 I got mine in the mail the other week, but I have another one waiting in customs for me So, I'm going to pay the charge and sell that one.
Pinheadstern Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 yeah, i heard of someone else having this problem , not me ... mine was fine
Nova-Caine Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 This kind of thing does happen I'm afraid. I used to work for a company that sold rare vinyl and Cd's we would often get items from Manufacturers with missing vinyl, duplicated vinyl, wrong vinyl inside. Record Companies always ask that you send the item back to be replaced with a complete set, they have no way of knowing if you are trying to pull a fast one as you can imagine there are many dishonest people out there. They also check on whether its just a one off or a full faulty batch on the production line.I had to frequently ask people to send the items back so we could ship a replacement. Warner's should offer to pay your return postage or refund it once they receive your returning item.It is standard for them to ask for you to send it back.I would then you can get a full and complete copy.
The Disappearing Boy Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 just order a new copy, then either keep the first one, as it may be rare, or sell it on ebay at a profit.
Welshy Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 I'm still waiting for mine, but I'm getting worried cause I know some people in UK have got them already.
lbw87 Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 im glad mine isnt fucked up...id hate to have to go through all that just to fix the record company's mistakes
Nova-Caine Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 just order a new copy, then either keep the first one, as it may be rare, or sell it on ebay at a profit. ^^ This is also true, incorrectly packaged items can become rare collectables over time, the same with mistakes on vinyl when in pressing like wrong title etc or wrong record label. Many Record companies all use the same Manufacturers you wouldn't believe how many CD's and Vinyl are pressed with the wrong record company logo on them
