Grrr....i lent 21st Century Breakdown to my friend for about 2 weeks...he gave it back today...and there was some shit spilled all over it and the pages of the book...they are stuck together and as i pulled them apart as gently as possible i still lost like half the lyrics....im furious.

so if any of your geen day stuff means anything to you be very very careful who you lend it to....anyone else got a tragic story about lost or destroyed merch?

i thought he could be trusted!! i had no reason to believe anything would happen to it....then the fucker spilled milk on it apparently...billie joes face...GONE!...FML

This is why I don't lend things - including Green Day items - to anybody.

Don't trust people. Simple. :P

I don't lend original cd's. If they want it I rather burn them a copy myself.

Actually, I just realized I lent someone my 21cb CD... BUT... I took the album art out. :)

they gave it back and the case was all scratched up (from being in her bookbag)

oh well, i'll live.

That's what I do. My best friend wanted to hear 21stCB a little while back, and she wanted to borrow my Best Buy edition from me. Sorry... but hell no, not even for my best friend. I told her I would just burn her a copy instead, and that's exactly what I did. It's not that I don't trust her... it's just that I feel better knowing that my items are with me where I can see them, not out of my possession where anything can happen.

Nope my friends are decent people and respect my things :) I'd trust them with any of my things.

I hold all my things especially Green Day things dear to life and would never let anyone get their grubby paws on them

ignorance is bliss...watevr you do...do NOT take the chance my friend...

I've lent cds before and then got them back scratched so they now skip. Don't have to cheek to try and deny it was you, I know it wasn't like that when you got it! Grrrrrrr

omg lol i no right...."aw no man the case was broken when you gave it to me i remember"...."No it most certainly was not broken you prick!! Now buy me a new one!" "Dude you gave it to me with milk on it." i dont think so...after i gave you explicit instuctions to protect it with your life...and you spill milk on it really?

It doesn't matter how well you trust a certain person.. it can always get damaged. I don't lend my stuff. People are good in destroying other people belongings, simply because it's not theirs

I never let my friends borrow my CD's. The last time I did one of them came back...snapped in half -_- She claimed it was a "total accident",but she was quite phony about it.

Dear God; even my most trusted friends would NEVER be allowed to borrow any of my Green Day stuff! Not even a shirt. Although I'm one of the lucky ones; none of my friends are as crazy about Green Day as me so they wouldn't ask me to borrow anything. If they do ask, buzz off.

I lent my friend 21CB after I got it, he brought it back to me in the same condition I gave it to him in...probably because I kept saying to him "Please don't destroy this, it's like the Holy Grail to me right now."

The only thing I can think of is when my brother stepped on my AI cd, the case is now cracked.

Oh man, that sucks!

My friend lent her American Idiot CD to a friend and watched as the CD fell out of the case and into the street and run over by a car... she flipped out, needless to say.

I rarely let people borrow my things. My friend wrecked one of my favorite books and claims that her dad did it. Riiiiight.

People can't be trusted, sadly.

Oh no milk is the worst, soon it won't be smelling too pleasant. Those cheeky buggers!

But if he's getting you a new one, you will actually end up with an extra CD because you'll still have the old one, and you could give to someone who could then discover the wonderfulness of Green Day :o. So it could be a good thing :sherlock:

I trust no one with my Green Day stuff.

If something of mine says Green Day on it, no one is laying a finger on it except for meh! :P

you guys should have seen my reaction to someone who took my Kerplunk CD out of the stereo and set it down on the "playing" side of the CD.

me: are you fucking stupid?! you're surrounded with Green Day posters all around you and you have the nerve to put my Kerplunk CD faced down the wrong way, just risking to scratch it?!?!?!

him: sorry... :ermm:
