Which Green Day songs do you guys find easier to play? This is probably targetted towards

those who are performers/musicians or better yet,in a Green Day cover band.

I'm asking more on the side of vocals here.I'm asking because I'm in a band and

we're covering GD songs for now,and as you'd have guessed,I'm lead singer

of my band. :D

Here's a list of songs which I consider to be easy,so you know what I mean by "easy":

-Poprocks and Coke

-Macy's Day Parade

-Waiting

-Nice Guys Finish Last

-Brain Stew

-Walking Contradiction

Basically what I'm looking for here,I think,is songs that are mid-range,and don't require

much,if not none at all, shifting of pitches in vocals. It'll be GREAT if someone can point out the

ones that qualify for what I'm looking for in the AI and 21stCB albums.I know Give Me Novcaine and

maybe, Extraordinary Girl are considerably easy.

Opps,forgot to say...What I really DON"T WANT is...songs that require like,"screaming" if that's what you call it,

to properly get the song out.

An example of what I mean is,in American Idiot, where Billie is practically "shouting" out a rallying cry.

I prefer,the softer,REAL "SINGING"...like of those songs listed above. :D

WHEN I COME AROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coming clean, She, Basket case, probably the entire first and second album... I´d suggest just to try out some songs and then see how it works for you and your band. Good luck!

Lol!I do realize that the earlier back their albums, the easier it is to play!

Anyways,I like She,but I can't scream like Billie in the bridge. :/

When I Come Around, Warning, and Whatsername.

I was in a band once, and was the singer, we covered those songs, no screaming necessary. :)

21 Guns is reeeeally easy on guitar. It's fun, too! So is East Jesus Nowhere. And When I Come Around and Welcome to Paradise are both easy and awesome.

¡Viva la Gloria! or Who Wrote Holden Caulfield

minority, church on sunday, one of my lies, having a blast, geek stink breath, jinx and haushinka for example.

Going to Pasalaqua is easy. It uses open chords except for F# Minor. Although, you have to be able to sing pretty high.
