cNjTheNewAuthority Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Which Green Day songs do you guys find easier to play? This is probably targetted towardsthose who are performers/musicians or better yet,in a Green Day cover band.I'm asking more on the side of vocals here.I'm asking because I'm in a band andwe're covering GD songs for now,and as you'd have guessed,I'm lead singerof my band. Here's a list of songs which I consider to be easy,so you know what I mean by "easy":-Poprocks and Coke-Macy's Day Parade-Waiting-Nice Guys Finish Last-Brain Stew-Walking ContradictionBasically what I'm looking for here,I think,is songs that are mid-range,and don't requiremuch,if not none at all, shifting of pitches in vocals. It'll be GREAT if someone can point out theones that qualify for what I'm looking for in the AI and 21stCB albums.I know Give Me Novcaine andmaybe, Extraordinary Girl are considerably easy.
cNjTheNewAuthority Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 Opps, forgot to say...What I really DON"T WANT is...songs that require like,"screaming" if that's what you call it,to properly get the song out.An example of what I mean is,in American Idiot, where Billie is practically "shouting" out a rallying cry.I prefer, the softer,REAL "SINGING"...like of those songs listed above.

Anja Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Coming clean, She, Basket case, probably the entire first and second album... I´d suggest just to try out some songs and then see how it works for you and your band. Good luck!
