This is kinda odd..

HOLY SHIT.

Canada needs to get in on this action.

I'm happy for you North Dakota people...

... but why the hell can't something cool like this happen in Pittsburgh?! If the people/corporation in charge of this meet and greet (Hot Topic, I'm guessing) think that there wouldn't be a good turnout in Pittsburgh, they are WRONG. I would wait outside in a line for an entire day to see these guys for a couple of minutes. I don't care if it was pouring down rain and I got soaked head to toe the entire time, I'd still wait.

I hope there's something like this for Hartford.

LOL north dakota.

who the fuck lives in fargo??

Congratulations, Fargo! :) Something good happens for you after those floods last year in March!

It would be truly hysterical if they showed up in Williamsburg while I'm in college there...yeah, in my sweet, sweet dreams!

Why can't they do a meet and greet in Ohio or Michigan or something? We never get anything around here...

Posted

Weird....they never do this many meet and greets.

PA doesn't usually get anything either. When I went to the meet and greet, I had to drive 6 hours to Rochester, NY. Then stand outside in the freezing cold for 8 hours. Luckily, it wasn't just for the meet and greet. They played a show there, and we didn't have tickets. When I came out after meeting, a radio station I talked to earlier in the day came up to me and handed me tickets, said I deserved them.

Oh my God, me too!!! I would die if they did that here!!!!!

Where's San Francisco? :((

The Fargo location for this startled me at first...my first thought was amazement that they even HAVE Hot Topic up there, haha. But I guess they deserve a special event like this as much as any other medium sized town. It's really kind of cool that it's not in NY or LA or SF for once. I like it!

And maybe it means there will be a few more of these sprinkled sporadically throughout the tour.

You know what kinda confuses me? They want these people to purchase the new CD in order to get a wristband to meet the band. Now don't you think if the fans are there to meet Green Day, the CD has been out for well over a month, they would already have the fucking CD?! I mean c'mon...if you are there to meet Green Day...and you call yourself a fan...you better fucking have 21st Century Breakdown...and all their albums for that matter.

Haha true. I went to Hot Topic on the day 21CB was released, but I had already bought 2 copies. I went to buy just a shirt, and this girl I know that works there was like ya know, you might as well take the CD....it'll be free..plus you'll save $5 on the shirt. Sooo.... I have 4 CD copies of 21CB. The Vinyl SE has one, the Best Buy book, the regular, and the Target edition.

"Not like those freeloading Canadians........what?.......Canada sucks!" - Peter Griffin.

I'm sorry.....I had to. My friend went to college in Canada and she loves family guy. The first time we saw that episode, I looked at her, and I don't think I stopped laughing for like 10 minutes.
