elanorelle72 Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Today was a very interesting day....and boy oh boy ....talk about a treat. I will get you the link and the phone number because they will ship anywhere.I went into Long and McQuade the big sheet and instrument music store. The largest in the city...it was a madhouse today because of a big drum workshop...after plonking on the pianos for a while I went to the sheet music. Ritchie says: Suzanne! look at the Green Day stuff here!...i thought oh.....just a book or two....HOLY CRAP~!it went on for ever! There were whole sheet Music Books for Dookie, Warning, 1039/Slappy Hours, American Idiot, Nimrod , International Superhits and Kerplunk...21 CBD to come soon ..although I prefer to transcribe it myself...for personal reasons.I was jumping up and down and the people looking at me funny...there were even some ones with a whole selection with just chords only ...and found that useful.....and the funniest comment at the counter was: "Yes we do have a Green Day special..you get something free online"...I have yet to find what that is but I will let you know. it was funny....now I have endless supply of treats for a while...... I love the cover of Dookie...its nice and big....!

Lauren Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 The thing about these books is that they're written by regular people. So are tabs. While tabs are more likely to be written by an inexperienced person and these books are done by "professionals", I still find a lot of mistakes in them. It bugs me.
