†he sain† Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 starting with the Western Conference Finals (vs. Denver Nuggets) up to now in the NBA Finals (vs. Orlando Magic), the LA Lakers have been playing some songs from 21st CB most notably 21 guns.. i think that's a great promotional advantage for GD since their are like millions of people watching the NBA Finals
miss green day Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I noticed that too. I don't think you can tell it's Green Day if you weren't a fan, though.
†he sain† Posted June 9, 2009 Author Posted June 9, 2009 I noticed that too. I don't think you can tell it's Green Day if you weren't a fan, though.yeah you're right because when the game goes into a time out, they mostly play the guitar solo of 21 guns and if you're not a green fan, i don't think you'd recognize that
apocalipstick Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 My mom was watching it and I noticed that as well! There was another game yesterday and they were playing Holiday too.

IzButt Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 They played See The Light a couple games back. I got all excited when we were watching the game and I was like, "OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD HOLY CRAP GREEN DAY TURN IT UP A LITTLE LOUDER" I'm such a stupid fangirl
Seedless_Reject Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 The question is...do they have permission to do so?
norcalgreendayfan Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 The question is...do they have permission to do so?I would figure that they do have permission from working out some sort of deal with the record label
