suziii Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 UK part should have WAS supporting! Never failed to put on a decent show! Good call i think! YES!!! WAS as in We Are Scienists, right?! i saw them supporting Kaiser Chiefs just over a year ago, but wasnt a fan at the time, so even though they were good live, couldnt really enjoy it as much. But now that i know all their stuff, i really wanna see them and actually appreciate them this time! plus, Keith Murray is a hottie
Comrade Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 No support. 4 hour show please. Or Enter Shikari/Pendulum to get some blood boiling.
Nomis Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 No support. 4 hour show please. Or Enter Shikari/Pendulum to get some blood boiling.Enter Shikari think i'd rather watch paint dry. Now Pendulum thats a great call, always put on a amazing show and get crowd worked up.

Guitar4Girl Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 I can't think who it could be, I guess it would be good if they just did a four hour show with just them playing. I want to know now who the support act will be though.
GD 4 LYFE Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 FYIThe support group for the UK leg of the European Tour will be a band called Daughtry. The announcement will be made on the 17th.You heard it here first!!!!
jacknovella Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 Hmmm....I guess we'll have to wait until the 17th to find out if this is true or not.
Ally Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 daughtry? hmm...don't really like them but if its true it is them then i guess i can cope with them. Good point Welshy, how the hell do you know if its not confirmed until the 17th?
walkalone Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I have never heard of Daughtry before now. I have just been listening to some of their songs on myspace and i like them. i wish they would confurm who it is by now. i really cant wait to see GD in Glasgow
Kryssi. Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 Daughtry are quite shit, IMO. I hope they don't support Green Day
Kryssi. Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I think they sound a bit like Nickleback (sp?)That's exactly why I don't like them.

Mar Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 I'm not a Brit so this won't affect me, but for the UK's sake, I hope to God it isn't Daughtry! I despise them with every bone in my body. It's not fair to put you guys through that torture! It's probably not true, but just the thought of ugh, DAUGHTRY, sharing the same stage makes me a little nauseous!
DeJennsitized Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Daughtry...never heard of them...guess I'd better Youtube them.My friend seems to think the Kaiser Chiefs and Franz Ferdinand are BOTH opening fo Green Day at our show in Belfast. I haven't really had the heart to tell him how wrong he is, he seemed quite excited about it
Jesus Of Suburbia 95 Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 I'd love it if they picked a comedian to get the crowd worked up rather than a band
