iLozza! Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Mmmm. I don't get on with Patrick Stump's voice, at all.My mum said she wants Take That to support them Yeah, same.Take that would be hilarious. At least I'd now the lyrics.
Anja Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I thought of another band I wouldn't mind: The Prodigy.I highly doubt that. That´s a totally different genre and The Prodigy are probably big enough to headline their own show.
emmaILGD! Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 ^ I know, but I wouldn't mind them if they did support Green Day.Yeah, same.Take that would be hilarious. At least I'd now the lyrics.LOL I know the lyrics too. I need to get a life.
Ally Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I could definitely see someone like Zebrahead supporting.they were rumoured, one of my mates told me they were touring as a support act in october but wouldnt say who they were supporting, so i dunno, hope they do cos i missed seeing them live when they were on last year
Kryssi. Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I wouldn't ever want to see Fall Out Boy and Green Day on the same set list... ever.
Psycho Britney Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 ^ I know, but I wouldn't mind them if they did support Green Day.LOL I know the lyrics too. I need to get a life.Nothing wrong with liking Take That!!
emmaILGD! Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Nothing wrong with liking Take That!! :wink:I never said I liked themmmm :whistling:. Well, they'd be better than Fall Out Boy anyway.
Anja Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 ^ I know, but I wouldn't mind them if they did support Green Day.Same. I´m not a fan of that kind of music but I saw them live this year and they kicked ass. You would totally see me in the pit when they play but on the other hand, I would not want to be in a pit when GD play because I wanna see them and not just hear haha
Psycho Britney Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I never said I liked themmmm :whistling:. Well, they'd be better than Fall Out Boy anyway.Okay I'll admit it-I quite like Take That!! (Now I'm going to run and hide..)
iLozza! Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I wouldn't ever want to see Fall Out Boy and Green Day on the same set list... ever.This.Though the Jo' Hoes would be worse
Kryssi. Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Maybe we should compile a list of possibilities.. well, mainly ones that would 'work' with being their support
emmaILGD! Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Okay I'll admit it-I quite like Take That!! (Now I'm going to run and hide..)It's alright I've got a few of their songs on my ipod. Now I feel like hiding too.
Sister of Grace Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I could definitely see someone like Zebrahead supporting. That would be great
Psycho Britney Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 It's alright I've got a few of their songs on my ipod. Now I feel like hiding too.Brillant-no need to hide now that two people have come clean (so to speak)! We'll have to stick together. Some how I can't see GD asking Take That to support them anyway! But I do like some of the other suggestions in here-The Fratellis, Kasabian etc.
Isabel Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 they were rumoured, one of my mates told me they were touring as a support act in october but wouldnt say who they were supporting, so i dunno, hope they do cos i missed seeing them live when they were on last year Yeah, I also heard a rumour that Zebrahead were supporting Less Than Jake on their UK tour in October. Although that's not going ahead now apparently because it'll clash with Green Day....My plan to see my favourite band foiled by my other favourite band.
Hermione Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Nothing wrong with liking Take That!! Indeed! I was obsessed with Take That when I was 8, I wish we lived in an alternate universe where they could support Green Day. Beats MCR any day!!
heatherela Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 i can't believe the support hasn't been confirmed yet!
kim246 Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 nah, no news  I was just gonna search for this thread so thanks for saving me the trouble
mechanicalman Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 I heard a rumour it's going to be Chas and Dave.
goldwing7500 Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 They may not even have a UK support, they said the shows would be really long!
Soo Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 They may not even have a UK support, they said the shows would be really long!Yeah, I'm hoping that's why we haven't heard anything yet!
louizex Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Really? Actually I think I'd prefer them to most of the bands mentioned here so far...Ohh yes OMG please tell me you are jokin. because i have a friend who assists in booking concerts and just as green day announced dates he swore the saturdays would be supporting. i just thought he was being an arse and winding me up they suck! i saw them supporting take that (lol more take that love) oops replied to wrong one. it was the whole conversation i meant to get sorry!

It seems too much of a coincidence that it was rumoured in the paper AND your friend had seen it somewhere. I hope to fuck not though...if we're not having a 4 hour show at least give us a good band
