DookieAdz Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 So, I i got tickets to Green Day for Belfast, Ireland on the 21st October (YAY!)But i was wondering who the support was, on the ticket it just says '+ special guest'. But i was wondering if any solid news was released yet.I also heard Alkaline trio could be supporting them in Ireland, which would be amazing! If you could shed some light on the subject i would be gratfull

It would be awesome if it did turn out to be Alkaline Trio, I would have loved to see them do some US dates with Green Day but I guess Franz Ferdinand will do for me
Hermione Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 I wish they'd tell us! Wouldn't mind the support they have in the US actually, better than most of the awful bands on the AI tour by the looks of it. They better pick us a good one
**nobodylikesyou** Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Who knows, maybe the Network or the Foxboro Hot Tubs, I hear they both have new albums due out this year.......just sayin.
Hermione Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Who knows, maybe the Network or the Foxboro Hot Tubs, I hear they both have new albums due out this year.......just sayin. Very interesting!
Sharmellow Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Who knows, maybe the Network or the Foxboro Hot Tubs, I hear they both have new albums due out this year.......just sayin. The Network would be pretty epic.
Guest Shangri-La Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Wait.. i thought this was confirmed already.Isn't it "The Rapture"? At least that's according to Tre.. I've never even heard of them.
Nova-Caine Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Haha me and Fink in the same venue. I wonder which one of us gets out alive Seriously though that would be awesome but as everyone said nothing as yet.
SOMERTEN Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Prima Donna please! Kevin Preston is a litttle human dynamo.

Guest Shangri-La Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 ^then whenthe fuck are the rapture playing? i'm confused.
Guitar4Girl Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I thought The Rapture are playing on the US tour. There was an article I was reading the other day, it was an interview with Tre and he said mentioned some of the bands they're touring with in the US. I'll try and find it for you.Edit: Here's the link http://www.rollingstone.com/blogs/smokings...th-tre-cool.php
farley drexel hatcher Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 They do owe us for FHT but I don't know if they'd want to open up big shows with them. It would be really cool if they did though. But other than that, nothing. The only rumour so far was the Bouncing Souls and that seems unlikely now.
nimrod-41 Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 We've just got to wait. But seeing as pretty much every band wants to support Green Day, it should be a great band.I also heard Alkaline trio could be supporting themHell yes!
Harriet Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 on the ticket it just says '+ special guest'lol for a while i thought special guest was a band
Nova-Caine Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I hope its one of the side projects, wishful thinking I know but it would just be awesome and to see the rest of the crowds reaction that don't about Foxies and the Network
Nova-Caine Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Zimmerframes. That's probably what I'll be on if they don't sort my left hip out within the next couple of months
