Sanah Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Larry Livermore apparently went to the show last night in NYC, and he's got some good news that I can't find anywhere on the forum after searching. From http://www.larrylivermore.com (Larry Livermore's blog):Even more so, though, I was pretty exhausted by the time the show was over - a good kind of exhaustion, I should note, the kind that comes from total physical and emotional involvement... Oh, wait, all I did was watch; it was the band who did the total physical and emotional thing, and came off stage practically glowing with the knowledge that the night had been one of those very rare and special ones.It might have had at least something to do with the fact that keyboardist/saxophonist/accordionist/vocalist Jason Freese had received the news just before showtime that he was a father; on Monday night he was practically beside himself with worry because his wife had gone into labor, but on Tuesday, the worry was replaced by a beatific smile and a performance that had jaws dropping even among his bandmates.Congratulations to him!!! (Move it if you want, but I really do think a new Green Day baby is something to get excited about.)
Anja Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Someone said that in the thread about the show last night. Congrats to him
longview_paradise Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Ahhh this is too cute! I'm so happy for him
*withoutadoubt* Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Yeah, Billie Joe announced on Monday night that he was 'about to become a father' and then on Tuesday said that he was a brand new father. Congrats to him and his family! And interesting that Larry Livermore was there last night; I wonder if he was there on Tuesday 'cause if I remember correctly, Billie Joe dedicated a song to him. I think it was At The Library, maybe?
