ScreamsInSilence815 Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Awesome review Haha, I saw somewhere that there's a Longview, Texas too. xD
Nimrod99 Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 wow, what a great read. I've been though Longview before... stopped by a McDonalds there on the way to the beach and gave my horse some french fries. haha. But back on topic: Krist really seems to know his shit, awesome.
Guest Shangri-La Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 wow, what a great read. I've been though Longview before... stopped by a McDonalds there on the way to the beach and gave my horse some french fries. haha. But back on topic: Krist really seems to know his shit, awesome.there used to be really good shows in longview but no one plays anymore Whenever Green Day play here Billie always tells a story about naming the song after the town, because it's such a boring place i guess, but i always thought it was bullshit and the name was a coincedence.
NGDP Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 I like the article, and this comment Krist left after someone said Green Day wasn't punk.Krist Novoselic says:"I hardly consider Greenday punk.."You're being dogmatic. Green Day are a huge Rock band - the biggest in the world. And they are Punk.Who's really adhering to Anarcho-Communalist values today anyway? Not many - even though there should be more of this "third way" instead of the usual left / right polarity.Posted On: Tuesday, May. 19 2009 @ 12:02PM
Hermione Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Nice! Nevermind was the first album I ever loved when I was little so when I heard 21st CB had the same producer I was very happy. Really cool to see he appreciates Green Day like that. And haha my mum said to me yesterday that Horseshoes And Handgrenades sounds like the Sex Pistols.
BigYellowTaxi Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 I'm really glad that he liked the album!! I kinda knew that he knew about Green Day.....
TheBullwinkle Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 I <3 Krist and his purple pants. Too bad he probably can't get into them anymore.
Juan Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 at least he has now a cool beard. And he's still amazingly tall
Milo Goes To Pasalacqua Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 This guy played in Nirvana. If he says something is good he's probably right. Kudos, Krist. And off topic but i kinda had to ask somewhere: where is the thread for general chat and comments on 21CB (i know there used to be one) and the thread for which version people where buying of the album (i seen it about a weeek ago). I haven't been on in a little while and i cannot find them (i have looked). I could search but that never works. Just post the links to the threads, someone, please? I wanna make a few comments on the album.
.Brian Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 at least he has now a cool beard. And he's still amazingly tallyeah the beard rocks.
