Billie Joe the Pianist

I just wondered because i had never noticed this before. according to the booklet inside the 21st Century Breakdown album. Billie Joe plays the piano in some songs.

I wondered, has he done this before and which songs are these? Just interested in pinpointing his handiwork.

he has said in interviews that he taught himself to play the piano for this album so i think this is a first

Well considering he said he originally wrote most of the songs on piano, yes he can play it. I doubt anyone's gonna know which ones is him playing though.

i did that, i refused to play after 2 lessons when i was 4, i appreciate piano.

there's some video of him playing piano from the warning era... can't remember which, but he's clearly played it well for a while.

Anyway, it would be EPIC if he would play a part or a whole song on piano during a concert. Highly doubt that atm, but still
