Floor tickets vs Statium Seating?

I'm just curious what many of you consider more valuable... floor tickets or reserved seats? During the presale, I noticed that the reserved seats went fast with plenty of GA's left for sale. I've always preferred floor tickets... any thoughts?

Thanks! :)

I got floor tickets. I don't see how I could stay seated for more than 5 minutes when Green Day is playing.

Standing is the ony way to experience a gig.

I got seats with free food

Fuck you if you didn't

I also got floor tickets... you can get closer to the band and I wouldn't sit anyway.

Standing, seating is ok if thats all you can get. i sat for foo fighters at wembley stadium and that was amazing. but standing is so much better. theres something intoxicating about the smell of sweat haha

I have front row seat tickets for the show in TD banknorth July 20, I dont like being on the floor because u cant see every detail, every move, every gesture, and see of course BJ!!! I CANT WAIT!! :D:lol:

I would kill myself if I only had seat tickets.

So, yeah, floor tickets. :)

i prefer seated just because i don't really like getting crushed on the floor, i like to take whats going on on the stage in!

i got floor tickets.

being way back is SO not my thing.

it's alot more fun on the floor, if you ask me.

I got both :D

Seating for Manchester and standing for Birmingham and London. I have a feeling I'm gonna prefer seating tbh. I won't get squished, I won't be stood in front of people taller than me and I won't have to get their hours before just to get to the front.

depends. I broke toes at Floggin' Molly and had beer poured all over me. So...I might have preferred rail seating at Boston's HOB.

I always go seats because I'm claustrophobic, so the whole hot air/getting squished/not being able to move thing doesn't work well for me. I tried it once at a small venue, and unless I'm able to overcome my claustrophobia or get a wild hair up my butt and have another go at it, I'll be doing seats for a while. I also like the seating because it's like your own personal space. Just because your tickets say you have seats, it doesn't mean that your ass is planted there. I sure as hell don't sit down when Green Day is onstage. I also like seats because if you need to pee, you can go and come back without losing your spot.

floor, if im going to get there early enough to get close to the stage. which i definitely will for green day.

but if its a band i dont really care about seeing or being close to then i just go for reserved seats.

Standing of course, I just love being at a show and on the floor, I really am willing to dealing to deal with the pushing and all that because I have so much fun and the floor and love coming out sweaty and sore afterwards plus dammit I want to try to get a drumstick or something but no luck yet

I've got both :D

Standing in Rotterdam, seats in Antwerp

And I don't know what I prefer, never been to a gig before :] But I think standing

Well Sanne you could still get one of my 6 tickets for Hamburg.

depends on your reason for going....

if youre going to rock/jam out with your cock/clam out and get sweaty, crushed, dehydrated and annihilated all at once while having the time of your life (no pun intended)..its all about a floor ticket.

if youre going to chill, have drinks, bootleg..etc, then by all means, reserved seats in the outers.

for green day, im still an up front-er...where as a lot of bands, id rather just chill to the side and catch/enjoy my buzz.

gwar is another band im up front for.

nofx...i was at the bar the whole time. and fat mike ripped on my friend standing next to me and they played new happy birthday song and changed the lyrics to how it was her first punk show and called her a backstreet boys fan and a slutbag....

so cool things can happen wherever you reside at a show. you just gotta choose your battles.

Well, I find a way to convince my parents that going to Hamburg on a Thursday to go to a Green Day concert is totally reasonable

Seating is good, and I've never been on the floor. But I got floor tickets this way around. I hope I live. xD i bet, for Green Day, it'll be excellent to be rightupfront.
