iTunes bonus tracks

So anyone's thoughts on whether the iTunes bonus tracks (the 4 covers) will be available as b-sides off future singles or available in any other form.

Personally, I really despise these iTunes exclusives. I buy CDs. One of the few if I were to buy into this Record industry sales crisis and to find out that some of the tracks I want won't be available on CD and I'd have to essentially buy the album again is annoying as hell, considering the CD will cost me more.

One example, Foo Fighters' 2007 album, Echoes Silence Patience & Grace, had an iTunes bonus track, Seda. I had preordered the album from the band site itself and got me a t-shirt and such but couldn't get that tune anywhere. After incessant hunting, I eventually find someone who had it who was glad to send it. Next thing you know it was available as a b-side to Long Road To Ruin and I was just flat out annoyed that I went through hell to get it.

I digressed lol, but what do you guys think on when they'd be available and your input on these iTunes tracks

Also in your defense, the search engine for this forum is HORRIBLY complicated lol It should be simpler...

i think its lame for those of us who buy our tunes in tangible, in hand formats. but ill find it for DL somewhere....thats what happened with i fought the law....it was "exclusive"....no one i know of had trouble getting their hands on that tune/file.....

if your good at the internet you can find any song, album tv show movie game etc.

I agree though, I really want to hear Like A Rolling Stone in particular, but I want the physical copy of the album and I'm not going to feel in anyway guilty for downloading these off some random site, like I would with the album (I am intending to buy it the minute it's out on Friday though, so not so bad)

i did preorder the deluxe from itunes, then cancelled it cos i couldnt afford the two versions, so i hope the bonus get put on a torrent site or summat!
