Most important part?

...is providing this one-of-a-kind HD collection, including 10 live songs from a recently recorded concert at Oakland's Fox Theater - in HD - along with the music video for the album's first single, "Know Your Enemy," starting May 7, On Demand and on comcast.net/greenday. Comcast also has created a breakthrough television ad featuring the band performing the new single.

"Comcast is debuting an exclusive collection of 30 Green Day videos, plus live performances of nine songs from the band's yet unreleased new album, all in crystal-clear HD," said Derek Harrar, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Video Services for Comcast. "If you like music and you like HD, Comcast is a must have."

Sorry if it's been posted already :/

There's also a 4 part interview, which you can watch here

Awesome!

But what is is? A broadcast on TV or something?

Posted

seems like a digital tv thing, same with when you can order movies directly on your tv. (like UPCondemand and stuff)

Oh dammit, I don't have digital TV (apart from that it's US TV, but I don't know if that matters with digital TV)

I wonder if we'll get to see this in the UK. I don't have any HD channels though even if we did

A lot of us in the US won't get to see it (unless someone copies it for us :)). Comcast is one of the largest cable providers, but they are not in every area. We don't have Comcast in my area. So it won't do me any good unless, as I said earlier some incredibly wonderful person can copy the best stuff for us :whistling:.

That's kind of what I was thinking too .... xD would definitely like to see it anyway

We have HD channels here, I think they're available pretty much everywhere, but I don't think they come cheap at all. It took us long enough to get Sky TV (cable) lol

Maybe anyone'll rip it... for us =)

Comcast will make this content, including an exclusive interview with the band discussing the making of the new album, available On Demand under "Top Picks," under "Green Day HD" and on comcast.net/greenday.

I think we will all be fine.

Awesome! I thought we'd be waiting months to see this footage...now we get to watch it tomorrow!

Do you know if we'll have to pay to watch it online?

That is SO great. I'm going to have to re-think my feelings about Comcast :).

Wait, they are only showing 10 out the 18 songs? Or did i read it wrong...

I don't have Comcast anymore D:

I hope somebody uploads/rips it.

Oooh this Static Age video is pretty cool.

All I get is a weird voice saying "This content is currently unavailable."

Someone please rip and upload. :)

I get the same message, must only be available in certain areas. Pisser. So much for modern technology!

The crowd was much louder at the show, they turned down the crowd mics so you can hear the music better, but I think it takes away from the energy of the show. The guys sound great though. I hope they release the whole thing someday.
