GREEN DAY ON UK TV!

On Bank Holiday Monday Green Day recorded a ‘Live From Abbey Road’ special for Channel 4 and 4Music - their first TV recording for about 3 years!

The show will feature new material from 21st Century Breakdown, including the single 'Know Your Enemy', as well as a few old classics and the band in interview.

The ‘Live From Abbey Road’ Green Day Special will initially broadcast on 4Music on May 14th at 9pm and then repeated at 11pm

It will then be broadcast at midnight on Channel 4 the same evening, and as part of Channel 4’s T4 on May 17th (1pm) and again on May 23rd (11.30am).

according to the tv listings its now at a 9pm its on at 12.10. Took me ages to notice it cos i was expecting to see it on 9pm but it sed cutting edge was on then!

Fucking brilliant . When was the last time I saw the boys on TV? A long long time ago! Wow some proper music on terrestrial TV, I can hardly believe it! Can't wait.

I can't record it/post it, I still just use a VHS player. I really hope someone does though so everyone can see it.

I can't fooking wait to watch this. But as I don't have freeview, I'm just going to have to catch it at Midnight. I'm just hoping my TV doesn't play up, it likes to only have one channel on each channel or no channels at all a lot of the time.

And I'll try to rip it onto computer as I'll record it on DVD the next day.
