I'm getting my first tattoo tomorrow I'm so excited! I've explained earlier in this forum what I'm getting but ill explain again, I'm getting a black and white portrait of Billie on my forearm with the words gimme gimme revolution around it in the 21st century breakdown font :D I'll post pictures as soon as its done!!!

maybe it wasnt as bad cuz it was twenty min later, i had that pick taken as soon as the guy sat back and told me it was finished lol

It's still a nice shade of blue. :P

No, it was red and swollen, it just didn't look it in the picture. I didn't think I bled but when I took off the bandage a few minutes ago there was blood on it, not much, just some. Probably just didn't show up because it's solid black.

I haven't seen any 21st Century Breakdown tattoos other than mine, though. I wonder if I'm just not finding them or they haven't caught on yet. Maybe I've got a claim to originality. :happy: Hahahahahaah

This is mine during the tattooing, right before the most painful part. I'm pretty good with tattoo pain and I almost cried when he was filling that in. Wwwwaaayyyy too many nerve endings right there. :P

Just got back from the tattoo place. I didn't get a picture of it finished before he covered it, but here it is almost done.

(I don't have a weird skin disease, he marked a few points to make sure the skulls lined up, lol)

Anyway, I'll try and get a picture up of them both ASAP.

Probably not tonight, though. I'm gonna keep the bandage on until like, I go to sleep.

I'm getting the red star like on Billie's hand, on the same hand, but just on the inside of my wrist instead.

I also found a few letters he's written online (IDK where it is at the moment, but one he wrote around the time Warning was being recorded), and I want to take the letters L-I-V-E out of the letter so I'll have "Live" tattooed on my wrist in his handwriting. :D I'm stoked about that one.

Where'd you find those?!

The first one (with the hearts) wasn't bad at all, this one was worse. I handle tattoo pain pretty well, though. He had to go over a few parts and THAT hurt like HELLLLL because it had just been tattooed like, a few minutes ago and he was doing it again. That was just bad. But overall it wasn't horrible, there were a few spots that had a lot of nerve endings and I had to bite my lip, but other than that it was alright.

I THINK it's 16 with parental permission here, but most places seem to not care as long as the person is either over 18 or has permission. I haven't been ID'd once there. lol

Here's the second skull. :D

I'm having a very difficult time getting a picture of both of them that isn't borderline porn. :huh: Hahahaha. I'll probably need to do a mirror picture.

I love everyone's tattoos, they are so awesome.

BUT, I wouldn't get a Green Day tattoo until you've been a fan for at least like, 10 years. But that's just me. I mean, I was a fan of another band for like 6 or 7 years and now I hardly bother with them unless I hear an old song. I wouldn't have wanted to make that mistake.

I got my first Green Day related tattoo (and tattoo ever) in March 2006. I was 24. I was a fan for 12 years at that point, and I was on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley, and I figured what the hell. Then 5 more Green Day tattoos followed. :P

It looks really well done, i'll say that. Face tattoos can quite wrong in some cases! Was it Megan Fox influenced at all? She's got Marilyn Monroe's face in the same place you have, right arm i think.

Thank you! it took 4 hours to get tattooed and ive wanted it done for a long time now so im sooo happy i got it ive been a fan for 11 years now so i figured my hero should b on my arm! but no megan fox wasnt a part of this, i didnt know she had that i actually dont like her at all lol i just decided i wanted my forearm instead of my bicep cuz i show it more and its my left forearm not my right but yeah im sooo happy with how it came out!:)

You're really lucky, a lot of face tattoos go wrong, but yours is really realistic

I've gotta go make an appointment, I might go later today 'cause I have to get my other one re-touched anyway, it healed strangely.

But I'm getting the skulls from 21st Century Breakdown.

One on each hip.

I think I may have messed up that quoting. Oops.

But I love that idea! Strangely enough I was planning to get them done for my second tatt, same placement too. Great taste :D

Wow, guys. You all have awesome tattoos.

I've been planing on getting one for some time now too. I wanted to get like the word PUNX with a black and red nautical star under it and some lyrics on the inner side of my forearm. I'll draw it up and show it to you to get some oppinions, but I have a few questions. Firstly, I was wondering if you have some ideas of where should I get the punx one? I was thinking between the shoulder blades, but you can't really see it then. xD Others can, but I can't. =P I don't want it on the legs, tho. Maybe on my whrist? Hmm... Secondly, you guys have any ideas what could I add next to the lyrics, so it won't be so dull? And the last one, how the hell do you tell your parents you want a tattoo like that?! It's not that they wouldn't let me or anything, but they probably don't know I'm that much of a fan and... you know what parents are like. =P

So, if you have the time to help me out with some ideas, please do! :):)

I have the same question! xDD I've been trying to find a way to tell my mom that I want my tattoo this summer, but I have no a freaking idea how to start talking about the subject. I've tried like 3 times this week, and I just CAN'T xD
