xXpunkXxemo Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 I just have a few questions about green days Concerts. Im going to the one in Hamilton ontario and its going to be my first one.so anyways. How long do their concerts go for? and do you need to pay to get a picture or autograph with them? I just want to know before i go because i dont wanna go and have no money left lol Thanks
tapdancingowl Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 It depends. I went to an AI concert, and it lasted about an hour and a half, maybe two at the most.Of course you don't have to pay to get a picture/autograph! However, I don't know how realistic it is that you'll get to meet them.
Anja Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Getting your pictures with the band is priceless Haha, no of course you don´t have to pay for that. How ridiculous would that be.

I think the picture question has been answered. Good luck meeting them
nirvanayoda Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 I've been a fan since the Dookie era, but the only time I've ever seen them live was during the Warning tour (Houston and Austin dates). I met them in Houston, but not in Austin. All you have to do (or at least all you had to do then) was wait by the buses and they come out and sign things for you and take pictures with you. Here's my signed copy of Kerplunk for an example of what you can expect:http://geocities.com/nirvanayoda/greendaysigned.jpg
Anja Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 ^Nice. I met them three times after shows and I didn´t get anything signed But I rather have my picture with them than a signature anyway
farley drexel hatcher Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 The only way you would have to pay would be at an orgnized meet and greet which you buy tickets for, but I don't even think the band do. Although the chances of meeting them at an arena show are slimmer than say, a club show
**nobodylikesyou** Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 ^Nice. I met them three times after shows and I didn´t get anything signed But I rather have my picture with them than a signature anyway Both is even better.... :whistling:
jose armstrong Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 your name and your signature make me want to hit my head against the wall repeatedly
**nobodylikesyou** Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 your name and your signature make me want to hit my head against the wall repeatedlywhy?
Walking Alone Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Yeah one and a half hours isn't enough....I've seen bands go three hours. But then again they didn't have an opening act.
belinda jane Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 when they played in melbourne last i'm sure they played for over one and a half hour. i think it was close to two.but that's probably because it was the last show of the actual AI tour.
