duder Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 Hi all,I'm from SPINearth.tv and we're considering doing a superfan-type contest with Green Day. If somebody gave you the tickets, would you follow up to 6 dates of Green Day's tour? Even if you had to pay all travel expenses? Let me know what you think of the idea. We haven't yet talked to Green Day's management and this is no where near happening, but with your support it would be one step closer. Respond to this thread or send me an email at north-america @ spinearth.tv (spaces are in there to block spiders).Duder
chickin'pickin' Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 My cynicism is in effect right now...need more info, methinks.
green_melly Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 SURE AS HELL!!! if it's in the Europe area i'll do it.... america is a little.... exensive.... and euorope isn't cheap either but fuck it it' green day ^^so EUROPE 6 CONCERTS here i coem
Hermione Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 It's a cool idea but aww, I almost certainly couldn't afford it. Wouldn't people who could afford those travel expenses be able to afford 6 tickets anyway?
Eirik Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 pay all travel expenses? no way, if someone else payed all that stuff and i bought the tickets myself. now THERE's something i could actually do.
duder Posted April 30, 2009 Author Posted April 30, 2009 Depends where it is.There would be several sections east coast, midwest, west coast. We'd pick someone in each area.
chickin'pickin' Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 So you're talking of the tour of America only?
Lady Liberty Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 There would be several sections east coast, midwest, west coast. We'd pick someone in each area.Ahh, no America for meee.
duder Posted April 30, 2009 Author Posted April 30, 2009 If it worked well in the US, perhaps we could do it in Europe
fashionvictim86 Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 I think everyone on this forum would love to follow Green Day around on their tour...
badwolf Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 As long as ithe six concerts are in America, I'm all for it.
Green Daynger25 Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 I'm gonna be lucky if I can go to 3 shows in a row. I may just have to settle for 2. Plus it also depends will they alow the 'superfan' to save a spot at the front so I wouldn't have to be there at 7am in the morning?

fashionvictim86 Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 I would e-mail, but I'm too lazy. I'd never win anyway....I've devoted a lot of my life to Green Day but I'd never be considered a superfan. There's always someone out there who is better than you.
Trina Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 Would love to - but don't got the moneysG'luck with it though:)
Leah-tard Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 I'm way too poor for that. I can't even afford to go to one concert =[. Damn everyday life expenses.
elisa Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 I'd love to but I'm afraid I couldn't afford it, I'm only 17 eh!
Green Daynger25 Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 i can see it though..."Oh MY Gawd I won the SuperFan...I'm a bigger fan than you!!! LOLZZZZZ" Please don't let this go through. For all our sanity. They need to do something for a fan that has never been able to attend a GD show. The fan wouldn't have to pay shit and it's just one show.
