Rediscover these gems that deserve a second chance, in Bigger Than the Sound.

Green Day, Warning (2000): After the prom anthem ("Good Riddance") and before the rebirth (American Idiot), which is to say "at the exact time when no one cared about them." Warning is the band's worst-selling album, though it's rather unjustly overlooked. Billie Joe Armstrong's writing is super strong — he really begins his blue-collar period here — and tracks like "Minority" and "Warning" proved that GD could still be plenty snotty when they wanted to.

I found this when I was looking at a Panic At The Disco site.

That made my evening.

I always say how amazing, yet overlooked Warning is

Warning's my second favourite album

I don't understand why people dislike it so much

I love Warning, but I don't think that's when Billie started his blue-collar period.

Warning is still my favorite. The lyrics on that album are the best ever written from them.

I love warning and I think that is really overrated. It's a great album.

What does "Blue-Collar" mean?

Your "Battler", Its a name for a worker who maybe doesnt make alot of money, and almost struggles week to week with expenses, but never gives up. Thats my take on it anyway.

I always liked Warning and I never thought it was their worst album. It's almost impossible to say that a GD album is bad... and just because it wasn't sold so many times, doesn't mean that it's bad anyway.

You mean underrated? xD

Anyway, Warning's my second favorite Green Day album, and I don't get it.. It's a great record! Well, at least the songs weren't overplayed :)

Warning and Pretty.Odd. really are diamonds in the rough.

warning is a really great album one of my GD faves, fuck people

Warning is wonderful. For my personal taste, it's probably my least favourite lyrically. But that's only because this is Green Day we're talking about and all their albums are so great lyrically, I still love love love Warning's lyrics. And everything else about it

I hope someone who reads that decides to give it a listen because of it, that would be cool
